you need shell access to get this done if you firewall evrything aceept port 8333 uou will be save because bitcoin protocol does not allow
any exporting of envirioment variables

This is more likely to affect servers than home users.  I employ Firejail within VM's, which are snapshot imaged as a counter measure.  One click and I am always fresh and new where BTC use is concerned.
