Bitmain to Launch a Giant New Bitcoin Mining Center

Bitmain, one of bitcoin’s biggest miners with a current hash-share of around 15% of the network, is to launch a new giant mining facility this December with 45 rooms, independent substations, offices and a total size of 140,000 kilowatts.

Good news! If Bitmain would offer cloud mining on their facilities it might be the first cloudmining which is not a scam. I would trust them at least, because it's hardly they would ruin their great reputation launching a ponzi scheme.
how is that good news?
why would Bitmain offer cloudmining if they have enough money to build this center from scratch?
In a greater scheme of events it is just one of the huge monopolists getting bigger, thats it
doesn't help the decentralisation of bitcoin at all,Id rather have 20 small independent miners open their businesses

Bitmain's customer service needs to be improved, they could do better by responding faster to support tickets.

The problem about the cloudmining is not only about trustworthiness and the proof of mining activity, it is also about the ROI, what is the point of making a contract for a year then you will find that your ROI is a year!! You will absolutely make nothing
Also if you joined with a lifetime contract there is another thing that you need to keep in your mind is the maintenance fee which will rape what you earn.
The result after a year will be a joke.
We will see what Bitmain is planning for this center then we will judge if it worth the pain or not

I totally agree with you, if any miner is getting full profit from his mining unit, then why will he go for cloud mining to share the profit. So i think even if they start to offer cloud mining it is not worth to invest it.

And to think people on this forum keep complaining that bitcoin mining is no longer profitable, guess it depends on who's talking.

Solo mining is getting harder especially after the halving and for sure after the next one and with a stable price..
For the giant companies it is another story maybe their profit is reduced a little especially when the price was $5xx but with 7xx it should be fine
In the other hand if the bitmain is serious about accomplishing this plan then if I am a competitor i should be worried
