Ver is a pompous ass running for cover before his initiative falls in on him.

May all of his future projects run as smoothly.

It's not that exciting at all, because Ver and his bribed pool ViaBTC have no power to block SegWit anyway. He's just backpedaling shortly before his obstructionist efforts end in epic fail to avoid loosing face. It may have become apparent to him that he already was successful in becoming the most detested person in the Bitcoin sphere. Continuing the attempt to block SegWit with a measly 5% of bribed hashpower would only make him a laughingstock.

Anyway, it's game over for Ver. His perceived self-importance is in fact a self-delusion. Faulty UnlimitedCoin has no support among the community. Almost all of its nodes are running at the same provider.

ViaBTC And Roger Ver Have No Interest In Blocking SegWit

An exciting development has taken place in the world of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. ViaBTC and Roger Ver have seemingly indicated they are not interested in blocking SegWit. This news came as quite a surprise, as the majority of Bitcoiners seemed to think otherwise. This does not mean SegWit will suddenly get activated on the network overnight either, though.
