If you spend anytime in the ETH forums you quickly discover that a large portion of that community are noobs (not said as a criticism) to the cryptocurrency scene. This makes them easy to lead and willing embrace both good and bad ideas.

The Bitcoin community is far more knowledgeable and as a result a fork might be more difficult to achieve.

clasic pump and dump , it has no security it has a known unfixed bug ....
so I give it a month before its gone.
again only governments will try to push a classic because that's the only way they can disrupt the bitcoin eco system , but as proven by etherium it will be futile.
because they never expeted the hard fork to sucseed.

What a bunch of fucking idiots.

Ethereum's shit idea of rolling back is not a NEW development, nor has it "inspired" anyone.

The very fact that people think ETH's problems are behind it, is laughable. A turing-complete coin is a rolling security vulnerability waiting to happen, and there will be another "problem" in the future. You've got to wonder how many forks it will take before people get sick of ETH, ETH Classic, ETH One More Time, ETH Special Sauce, ETH New Coke and whatever the fuck they come up with.

Its a trainwreck, and they're advising Bitcoin on how to do things? Get fucking stuffed, you inexperienced idiots.

Looks like governments trying  to disteballize bitcoin.
they are keeping up  the "classic" since the DAO hack basicly failed...
clasic will slowley die....
because nobody will maintain it.
only a few gov instances but it will be ignorded by the masses.

At least two Reddit threads have sprung up in the last 24 hours deliberating on the idea of calling for a Bitcoin Classic following the Ethereum Classic split from Ethereum.

In the first instance, why not just activate fork now? the OP doyourduty posted:

“If ETHc can apparently sustain itself against ETH, Bitcoin classic/unlimited/xt can definitely sustain itself against core. It’s been years of whining on the sidelines waiting for miners to act and come to our side. Let’s just do it!”

It generated mixed comments as well as the second thread Now Let's Create Bitcoin Classic (big block support), led by Gavin, It will be $3B market cap immediately whose OP Bitnicity says:

“Guys, Ethereum hard fork opens our eyes to new solutions and the possibility to the Bitcoin deadlock, let's hard fork to Bitcoin Classic. I bet exchanges, miners (they are greedy anyway) will jump in and it will immediately shoot to $3B marketcap. Free money grab for everyone and it resolves all Bitcoin deadlock. Win-Win.”
