Good news.  He is a big supporter of Bitcoin and I am always interested in hearing what he has to say about it.

Man, I am glad to hear that Patrick is fine and back behind the wheel. He is one of the finest pioneers in the Bitcoin space and he always comes up with the most ground breaking ideas to make Bitcoin

better. The last I have heard, Overstock diversified into silver and gold, but they still hold on to some of their Bitcoin. I hope we will see a celebration party to welcome him back.  Grin .... Let's hope his

inspiration has multiplied seven fold and he will be back with a BANG!  Grin Grin Grin

Earlier this year, Patrick M. Byrne, CEO of Overstock, took a leave of absence in April following complications of a Stage IV diagnosis of Hepatitis C. Today, the company is happy to report Byrne’s return. “I’m happy to be back to the day-to-day operations of this great company, where I see a clear path to continue our accelerating growth. It’s exciting times for the firm, especially with the move to Peace Coliseum, our new corporate campus. I want to thank my friend, Mitch Edwards, for having provided his services in the role of Acting CEO during these difficult four months,” said Byrne. “Once again my life was saved by the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, with a big assist from the doctors at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, and note that, oddly enough, for the first time in 31 years, I’m completely healthy.”
