They literally haven't got a plan that relates to "dynamic and secure cryptocurrency", the respective platforms bring those qualities to the table. The purpose is PR/marketing, the idea being to associate each platform with the benefits of the other.
Except, as I say above, both Shapeshift and KeepKey have already exhibited questionable business practices, so it's a pair of drunks leaning against each other so as not to fall over, in essence.
If crypto-exchanges can up their game to the point where they can't be hacked, there will be more trade volumes and greater publicity.
Unless the exchange is decentralised, that's not possible. You clearly don't have any knowledge of the way Bitcoin exchanges work (and you're clearly not interested either).
