I'd love to see these jokers try a fork -- and fail. (again)

That's a lot of lost mining income every time they do. These tossers don't realize how much resting inertia the Bitcoin network has.

It's pure manipulation. If you just spend a few minutes on analyzing where these nodes are hosted, then it's fairly easy to assume that they are being controlled/operated by just a few entities. It doesn't take much effort for one to host plenty of nodes from a data center. We have seen the exact same thing happen with other alternatives, and all have at some point given up because it costs too much to keep them running for a significant amount of time with that many active nodes.

Number of Bitcoin Unlimited Nodes Surpasses The 700 Mark

The ongoing “competition” between Unlimited and Core nodes remains quite intriguing to keep an eye on. Over the past few days, the number of Unlimited compatible nodes has increased to 736. Quite a significant number, even though it includes some nodes that other platforms may not see as “compatible”. It is evident the Bitcoin Unlimited support continues to grow. More progress is needed to address bitcoin’s scalability in the near future.
