CEO MGT Capital Investments, John McAfee, said he increased profit them-led company due to bitcoin mining. McAfee said in his statement:
"We will definitely be profitable before the end of the year. From bitcoin mining, we will get the experience and expertise to apply the blockchain to our security products."
Currently, MGT owns a mining farm in the mountainous areas of Washington state, that served two people. MGT also said that they received funding from the Chinese company Bitmain Technologies to purchase thousands of computers for mining. The company expects to generate no less than 225 bitcoins a month vs 100 bitcoins now...
