Everyone busy on GST but we what about bitcoins.
Hope India approves bitcoin soon   Cry

Soon GOVT. will be busy for BTC too .. Bitcoin's crazy market cap can't be avoided anymore now . But its sad and i hope at least no one again mark it as PONZI like our honorable MP did which is epic stupidity .

That does not look to be happening now, they are active in this matter and would be inching to tax as many people as possible and that too at the earliest as to get as much as money from the people.Let's hope to see some tax regulations coming up for Bitcoin by the end of this month.

What the reason behind to hold this discussion on bitcoins , may be the one reason Every news channel focus on Gst and other things so They will consider later...
Hope India will approve Bitcoins

Well not sure what they will do. because now all business are affected with GST and their will be huge problems people will face at initial stage about process etc which govt will need to take care. So in between will they bring anything related to bitcoin is one thing we need to wait and watch out for.

So do we have any news after Jaitley discussion with all the concerned leaders?

The news came out on April 10, to discuss on bitcoin and submit a report within 3 months and where are we now on this?

Government already assigned panel for bitcoin regulation in india its on april because some MP of central has stated bitcoin is ponzy scheme and its hugely used for money laundering . But the exchanges in strongly stands with bitcoin and regulate towards bitcoin as legal money.
there is nothing to be hyper about bitcoin.they cant do anything about it as it is decentralised and i think it is good that government is also taking bitcoin in account.soon blockchain technology will be used by banks in india thus may result in chance that government will start  using blockchain technology to secure their data.and now every exchange use kyc to buy and sell bitcoin so every bank amount transaction is in record,so there is nothing to fear unless you have black money.

Arun Jaitley holds meeting on bitcoins

http://indianexpress.com/article/business/economy/arun-jaitley-holds-meeting-on-bitcoins-4725078/

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Tuesday held an inter-ministerial meeting to examine risks related to virtual currencies (VCs) like bitcoins. Although several issues concerning bitcoins were discussed, no decision was taken, sources said.

The meeting was attended by IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Arvind Panagariya, Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi, Economic Affairs Secretary Tapan Ray, Financial Services Secretary Anjuly Chib Duggal and other senior officials.

The government has been debating over issues concerning bitcoins and had last month sought public opinion on allowing virtual currencies.
