This is a actually a very good report and quite honest in its assessment on many issues surrounding Bitcoin. Of course, this is not something new as there is always that concern that Bitcoin can be utilized by criminals to further inflict more problems on targeted victims. Of course, criminals and terrorists can have access to Bitcoin if they want to but right now there are no solid evidence of this.

In the future, in case there would really be organized syndicates using the benefits of Bitcoin to their advantage, it remains to be seen how the government can react. Will they restrict the use of cryptocurrency or would they rather focus on how to stop criminals from doing their job regardless of the type of currency they might be using?

Actually even if criminal syndicates really used bitcoin in their advantage, they will be still track by the government. Bitcoin is pseudo anonymous only. If they will exert effort to fully investigate and follow the trail, then its no different to fiat as well. Again bitcoin is not the culprit here, its just they saw the bitcoin has gray area that can be exploited, but nevertheless bitcoin is not a safe haven for criminals.
