Is it that difficult for them to put up some English translation to their updates? I am tired of using Russian (through Google translate) every time I communicate with BTC-e people. Can't they hire at least one or two English-speaking staff?

Essentially, I believe that most victims of the btc-e shutdown will gladly accept them having to say goodbye to their fiat funds, when they are given the option to gain back their crypto assets.

I can't speak for others, but for myself, I definitely would be willing to compromise by discarding the +$10,000 in fiat, just to get my +5BTC back. The thing is that right now I don't have any of the two, where from this point there is nothing more to lose. In that regard, if I get to see my coins back, it will feel like a victory for me. If they in the end do happen to allow people to reclaim whatever there is to reclaim, I think they will force people to verify themselves first (by personal information, ID scans, etc). If that happens, it will likely be in demand of the authorities, or perhaps BTC-E trying to better its existence by operating as fully licensed exchange. I think the afore mentioned example is the most likely one.

I personally still consider everything btc-e is saying to not have any value, until they for real let people withdraw their crypto assets. Till that time, our funds are still lost.

Yesterday, on August 3, the BTC-e exchange published a new post on the BitcoinTalk forum. Representatives of the service notified about arrest of the fiat funds processed through the company Mayzus Financial Services Ltd:

"We reaffirm that fundamental fiatnye flow enters the service via Mayzus Financial Services Ltd and at the moment they are arrested."
