This is a good, informative interview on NEM.

Especially this part

DB: There is a lot of rumours about the CATAPULT – the 2.0 version of the NEM. Can you tell us a little bit more about it?

LW: What will be the biggest change is that CATAPULT will allow push and pull transactions. Push means when you sent a transaction. Pull is when you request the other party to sign off. If I do a push-pull transaction it means when I sent you X dollars, you sent me Y XEM. I push one coin and I request a pull of XEM. If you sign off and I sign off, the deal is done. There are multiple parties. I can send it to you, you can send it to me, I can send it to my friends, they can send it to you etc. If everybody agrees we sign off and the deal is done. So it gives us a lot of creativity to do a lot more things, and this is a really important feature. The other important changes in the upcoming CATAPULT is speed and design.

I usually follow Catapult's update from https://forum.nem.io/t/stories-from-the-dev-front-memoir/2641 only
hopefully we can see more update from nem.io be it on NEM or Mijin

Excited, and look forward to NEM's catapult release end of this year. Smiley
