This is the most perfect example I have seen on someone blatantly creating a article to spread FUD about Bitcoin to get people to buy Gold and Silver. I quote his ending to this article : " Do you have your gold yet?" If not, go here.
Regards, Jim Rickards,
For The Daily Reckoning Australia
This ending eliminate his biased view or opinion on Bitcoin completely and clearly identify why he wrote this article. < Do not invest is Bitcoin, this is the reasons why, rather invest in Gold > Wow... how stupid is this guy?
Well, Jim Rickards is just riding with the popularity of Bitcoin much more so because Bitcoin is now considered to be the digital form of the physical gold. Actually, there is really nothing wrong if one would be investing with or buying gold as it is considered to be one of the most stable investment vehicles earning the title as the safe haven for many reasons.
However, trying to make something good by making the other bad may not be the best idea to promote one's program and it is leaving a bad taste on the mouth of someone doing it. Of course, perceptive readers can easily detect the below-the-belt type of approach and this is something not acceptable not just because we love Bitcoin but because we understand good marketing practices.
