If this is “hard times”, what was it at any point before mid-2017?  This type of article seems to lack any perspective.  If “industry experts” actually knew what was going to happen, they’d be richer than Bill Gates.
Nobody actually knows what ig going to happen. I guess all this suggestions about future price for bitcoin just based on the last year events when the price for bitcoin extremely fast raised to 1000$. People just in the mood to something the same happen and I don't exclude it. The wave of Bitcoin is going through the world and legalization and licensing just prove that the era of crypto-currency is on it's pick.

I think in sooner time the price is going to be something between 6000$ and 7000$ and I will hold all my founds till that. I have noticed that some signature campaigns shorted their payment, like from 0,03 to 0,025 BTC and that tells me bitcoin is going to rise, and nobody knows it better than heads of signature campaigns Wink

This is only a thing for short term minded investors, really. If we look at the $6000 mark, it's just a 40% increase, which for me is nothing special since I am fully confident in the market to attempt to kiss the $10,000 mark next year.

Other than that, these kind of predictions hold no value with the November hard fork ahead of us, and thus it's just a guessing game currently. I am perfectly fine with it settling above the $4000 mark for the rest of the year.

Don't forget that we have seen the market increase with almost 400% this year. Consolidation is what I consider to be the right thing for this period of time ~ I always prefer sustainable growth over quick increases.

Bitcoin will quickly rise to $6,000 and you’re all foolish for thinking otherwise. At least, that’s what industry experts are saying. Of course, they added one important caveat: expect volatility to continue.
The cryptocurrency community has fallen on hard times as of late, but that hasn’t stopped the industry’s brightest minds from maintaining their bullish bets on BTC. The next major target that experts are eyeing is $6,000, which is a nearly 40% increase from current levels. According to analysts quoted by CNBC, $6,000 could become reality by year’s end.

My pick still is over $7,500 Wink

The price is currently stable in range from 4200-4300$ and it will stay probably like that in next days, but with approaching of hard fork any some new hard forked bitcoin, price can go up just simple because people will buy to make some profit like with BCH.

After fork everything is possible, but before predicted 6000$ we need to reach 5000$ again and make some resistance at that level. With some good and positive news and entering some major world investors even your pick is reachable.I would be happy with 5000$ stable price at the end of this year as an excellent starting position for the next year.

We need to factor in the incoming Segwit2x implementation. Will it break bitcoin or will it push the price to new heights again? I think this is the major thing to really push bitcoin to the next level once again. If the implementation was a success then $7500 or even $1000 will be possible. But if investors lost their trust because another clone coin emerges and investors move to bitcoin gold then we will see a price pullback.

But personally, I like what we are seeing in the market. Seems bullish to me although we can't really experience it like we like because their's a minor correction happening. But its just normal and we hope that another bull run will occur before the Segwit2x happen in November.
