Right now people - mostly general public who have just heard the word but didn’t really go into all the details - hear only about the speculative side of bitcoin. That its rate is soaring, that there is a lot market speculation, etc. In a few years, or can it be months when people learn about all the convenience of using bitcoin for all their personal transactions, they will welcome it for sure.

Bitcoin is evil if people think it is but we all know the saying that 'Money is the root of all evil' and Bitcoin is a digital money so it is not an exemption. The responsibility of the people who uses Bitcoin is the main issue here and we can't stop people to use it online so as criminals too so instead of ranting that it is more evil than our Fiat moneys then we must think again that no matter how we thinks against Bitcoin it will still go on because it is now have a value.

Money is the root of all good.  Money is a storage unit for the wealth you create. And you create that wealth by spending a part of your life to do so.  Anyone who tells you that money is the root of all evil is the immoral, evil being who wants to take that portion of our life you spent to make money while trying to con you into believing that you are evil not to accept their desire to do so.   Those who say money is evil, either don’t understand how one makes money or do understand it and are attempting to enslave you.

Don’t be a useful fool and accept that the effort you put into making a living is evil.

It is not really a tool made for illegal activities for criminals. It was made to help us improve our financial system but governments are only focused only on reports that bitcoins are only use on the darknet like for buying drugs and etc and not even realizing that their own fiat currencies are also used to commit these crimes.

bitcoin is just an  instrument, blaming it for any instances of criminal usage is like
blaming knives for murders, bitcoin is not evil, even the notion itself makes me laugh
its the way it is being used by people that are evil that makes it look like the weapon of choice of "bad people"
and now we can see that the scale of on which bitcoin is compared to fiat money in terms of criminal activity
it is incomparable, but whenever something bad happens that could be connected to bitcoins,it gets into the news instantly

As the Paradise Papers reveal, the powerful have been committing fraud on an unimaginable scale with US dollars and other fiat currencies, not with Bitcoin. Continue reading here: https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-is-not-so-evil-after-all/

It is a common knowledge that as far as criminals are concerned they are still using the fiat money in majority of the transactions but of course since there are also those who are already into new innovations the name of Bitcoin is just dragged on especially by the mainstream media which have not yet fully grasp what cryptocurrency is all about. some people wanted to strictly regulate Bitcoin because some criminals are using it but what about the fiat money? It is not actually so fair to say the least.
