On November 29, Nasdaq exchange announced it will begin to offer Bitcoin futures arround the first half of 2018, according to a report issued by the Wall Street Journal.The emergence of futures markets should pave the way for an ETF for the cryptocurrency and allow the stock exchange will follow suit behind other Chicago-based markets that have already indicated interest in bitcoin future trading.
While Nasdaq does not have a hard date set for its product, since 2015, the exchange operator company has offered an exchange-traded note based on bitcoin on its Stockholm exchange.
