I personally love monero very much. But recently the "non performance" compared to BTC and other ALTs made me give it up unfortatuenyl.

John McAfee is one of the most interesting figures in the world of cryptocurrency. His famous Bitcoin bet is well known in the cryptocommunity. Recently however, McAfee decided to share his opinion on some of the most progressive digital currencies. McAfee announced that his Twitter was flooded with questions about cryptocurrency recommendations. If people had done a little research, they would have realized the future is in anonymous transactions. According to McAffee, Monero, Verge, and Zcash are the most promising. These coins, he says, cannot lose. more: https://dowbit.com/mcafee-monero-anonymous-cryptos/

I am sure this sort of a recommendation can be good news to these three coins: Monero, Verge and Zcash as these are known to be more anonymous compared to Bitcoin and others. I am sure that John McAfee knows what he is doing and saying. He is known as one of the most popular ardent supporters of cryptocurrency and many are listening to what he might say. Hope that Bitcoin will really be a million soon according to what John has predicted.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
Interesting figure indeed. Out of the 3 coins mentioned here, Only Verge is really taking off as of the moment. But if you are going to talk about being anonymous, there's no doubt that Monero and Zcash is a good coin for privacy minded individuals.

As far as John McAffee, I really don't know, this guy is eccentric and have made mind blowing predictions about bitcoin. Should we believed him? I don't think so. But being famous, I think his every statement will have a impact on the market as well. Let's see how it goes for Monero and Zcash, they haven't been pumped as of yet, compare to other coins you have been enjoying their largest jump for far like Ethereum and Litecoin.

As per coinmarketcap:

Zcash   $1,270,605,754      $447.76   -7.15%
Monero   $4,687,411,671      $302.82     -8.31%

Asking investment advises from someone because he is simply rich and famous is a pretty stupid thing to do, especially when itss half-crazy John McAfee who has very little understanding of cryptocurrencies, otherwise he wouldn't get involved with Bcash and wouldn't tweet about longer blocks. This is especially true when it comes to privacy-based coins - their technology can so sophisticated that only experts in cryptography fully understand it, and often their criticize some privacy coins saying that they are failing to deliver 100% privacy.

Most famous altcoins are on rising right now or at least getting pumped, such as eth, dash, ltc, zcash and now xrp, unbelievable.
But, people tend to dump altcoins until the prices reach a certain point, what about the anonymous coin? Maybe McAfee's opinion about those coins is right, even though it will be dumped at higher prices when the time comes for bitcoin to rise and most funds will switch to bitcoin, then these coins will set a new stable price and tanks again, the last time, most of these coins stable at $250-$300. Well, monero seems has the biggest potential to rise, as the price always pretty stable all the time compared to other coins.
