I think the only person on that list that's credible would be Trevor Koverko. He's an original investor/advisor of the ethereum project. Pretty cool project he has going.
In terms of the buzzfeed article, they may not always hit the dot, but the fact that they're talking about it should say a lot about how far bitcoin has come. Mass adoption here we come  Cool

There is trouble abrewing
99% of the time when i read "bitcoin experts" are talking about bitcoin future, they aren't really talking about anything worth reading and they are not really experts either.
most of them are either too hyped up by bitcoin who are seeing good times all around and predicting unbelievably happy days! or they have their heads in the sand and they are trying to spread FUD so they are predicting death and end of bitcoin very soon. always very soon!

It's a pretty weak list of experts. I've been around for a long time and I only know two of them.

Qualifications like this aren't exactly convincing:

Investor and in the IT industry for 25 years. Researching and being more and more fascinated by blockchain technology for more than 2 years....

Not only that, but BuzzFeed itself is not known for its reliable news. There have been way too many times that reporters, writers, and editors at BuzzFeed manage to release a poorly researched article that either lacks context or is made public simply to attract clicks. They probably are just trying their hardest to get in on the Bitcoin bandwagon without having to put the effort into learning about it. I would not be surprised if they do not have any standards to consider the individuals on this list experts. I would just stay away from them.

I totally agree with you. Although Buzzfeed has been in the industry too long already, but it seems that they don't care and even the publishers won't do anything as long as it will make revenue for them. And everyone is really riding on the popularity of bitcoin that its pretty obvious that the author is just doing that. Garbage and totally out of context. I noticed that this trend started like 6 months ago when bitcoin was taking off. Everyone wants to writes article on it for clickbait and exposure only. They are no experts, if you consider them, then you might as well consider newbies creating multiple threads everyday. LOL. They are more well-versed than the so called experts.  Smiley

Agreed 9 more people believe in bitcoin, even though some were blockchain rather.
Not the impactful wow list I was expecting.
Although in fairness people probably said the same when cointelegraph interviewed me about price predictions lol

Indeed, it's funny to claim an expert in blockchain technology if you are not among the people who have been investing in bitcoin since 2010, here what Steven Buchko said; No one can predict with more than fifty percent accuracy what the fate of Bitcoin will be in the next five years. Anyone who says that they can is a liar.

He's right, no one can predict it precisely, as no one here can see what happens in the future, especially in the world of cryptocurrency which so volatile. So, forget about the experts said, you may predict what will happen in the future by considering some factors, and the most important is; bitcoin acceptance in every country.
