Hi,
Lets say 100 ICOs lunched from january to april 2017.

In our exemple Brian invested 1 Btc in every ICO for a total of 100 BTC.
Those 100 ICO are already on exchanges now, so if Brian wanna sell, he can.

Question: is Brian making more than he invested or less now with his 100 BTC investment?

I'm talking about someone who invested in all 2017 ICOs till now, 1BTC Each ICO. is he in profit right now?

Give a speculation in % of his winning or loss on this day.
...

First of all investing in 100 ICO is really crazy when we think that there are 100BTC available. Anyway if there are 100 ICOs I believe that most of them are scam or without a profit. What I would consider a successful ones are less than 10 but within a month you can't be rich from ICOs, that's a true fact but everything can happen. We should expect always surprises from ICOs and cryptocurrencies.

It is hard to give a accurate percentage. I have joined more then 10 projects in the past two month, and most of them made me profit, such as the Qtum, MYST, PTOY, Bancor, Status, Tenx, etc. Just one of them made me loss, the SONM.
You lost money with SONM, in my mind that seemed like a solid project, what happened? I have not watched that coin closely but it will be interesting to know what happened and why.

ICOs are designed so that if you buy on the first day you mathematically end up being in profit. But even without the bonuses, yeah, he would end up being in profit, and very nicely.
Depends on which ICO he invested in. A serious investor would not invest in just any random project.

That's not how math works. There are no guarantees with ICOs.

True. There isn't a sure ICO investment. If one claims to be a no-risk investment, well that is scam for sure.

Yes if someone get us the real data about all ico lets say like this:

ICO Price with or without bonus  / Price Day-1when listing on exchange / Price Day-30 when listing on exchange / Price Day-60 when listing on exchange / Till Today.

Then make more deep stats about selectionned ICOs with some criteria, like enthousiast of peoples before ico and make the same thing.

if brain is smart he will sell pre-launch, for some reason the price is way overvalued and pretty much all the time the price drops when it hits the first exchange.
after that he sold pre-launch he can always buy back his coins and still have a nice profit for the ICO's he believes in

Give a speculation number please.. 20% 40%.. 400%..

I think if he invested in ALL then he would have not made money, imho, as there was a whole bunch of completely crazy ico's that nobody put money in.  Gnosis for instance had a price of $30 officially i think but the dutch auction caused price of $60. It's close to 300 today.
So if the criteria would have been to invest in ICO's that had some type of prelisting arrangment for kraken, polinex etc. I would estimate that such a filtering criteria would have rendered a profit of approx 400-500%.
Yes, crazy. But...I bought into etherum when it started to rise in early March and now have well over that percentage in ROI.  The market overall has been awesome. So even if you had held on to your bitcoins from 1st of Jan, at a $1000 until today, at 2500, that is also 150%.
If i had bought in say something like gonsis for my previous etherum stash at 1st of March, even if it had the success of gonsis, 500%, I'd view it as a failure, as i would have exchanged one asset, for another that grew slower.

So consider that also in your equation: risk, reward and what you give up to invest into an ICO.  Invest into ALL i think is foolhardy to say the least.

take, it's a speculation number bro: %20

if Brian had joined to ICOs at middle term, I think it's about %20 bonus generally. (50 ICO's gave him %20)
Without bonus and succes ICOs gave him %40. (25 ICOs)
Without bonus and failed ICOs gave him -%40. (25 ICOs)

talking through one's hat.

Yes he is, but the amount of profit depends on how long he held each ICO token for.
The overwhelming majority of ICOs have succeeded and are way higher than their crowdsale price.

Can you give us a speculation of % winning of Brian right now?
