On what she said about smart phones is partly true. There is the possibility that the NSA has the ability to backdoor those devices and gather information. Some apps were also shown to have weak encryption. Also, if you have location services always on, anyone can find where you are and stalk you. No hacking needed hehehe.

Her comments about bitcoin might also be true. We already know that there is the possbility that Satoshi Nakamoto is not a single person, but a group of people. There was also the story of Gavin Andresen going to the CIA headquarters and after that, Satoshi was never heard of again.

Did Gavin share or post about what really happened with him and the CIA?

only a possibility? haven't you read the articles about apple?
the company has been busted to have backdoors in their phones preinstalled, also they officially cooperated with the agencies to
unblock their Iphones (like the agencies could not do it without them announcing it publicly, haha) to "fight terrorism"
the usual terrorism ruse to be able to deprive you of the remnants of your privacy
if you don't trust Snowden, just google bout apple and their face recognition system
now you fill in their databases for them and are paying for it top buck as well

Trump is Satoshi. That's the next statement of Natalya Kaspersky.

Trump is not  smart enough  to pull off something like that  Grin
as for her statement,it does make sense,at least an opinion worth reading and take a note of
agree or disagree is a whole different thing, but it is not something outlandish
like: "Hey,Satoshi was a grey extraterrestrial and we have all the evidence"  Tongue

a very interesting point of view,it cannot be confirmed,of course
and this is just speculations of one of the many cybersecurity experts
if we listen to an american expert,he would say that bitcoin was created by FSB
to undermine the US financial security and the power of dollar Smiley so economics is just the continuation of politics and propaganda
something tells me though, that Satoshi Nakamoto is definitely not a single japanese genius programmer
but a group of people, that is for sure, other than that this article is an interesting read and apoint of view, nothing more

Of course, if the US government created Bitcoin, then they’re doing a pretty bad job at handling it. They’ve lost a ton of money by prematurely selling off seized bitcoins from the Silk Road.

(I've heard comments from analysts who say the US are sponsors of terrorists).

I agree with this comment, US acts like it's against terrorists, but the real is that US is the factory of terrorists they create and control when they want to get benefits from some countries, as like oil, fuel, ..etc

and we all know, creating and management of terrorists costs too much, that's why US economy fallen down because of huge spending last years, can anyone know why US fall in fund problems while it's getting HIGHEST fees from their people in US? they created Bitcoin on hope to help US fallen economy.

KASPERSKY LABS CO-FOUNDER SAYS BITCOIN CREATED BY AMERICAN INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES

In a recent speech, Natalya Kaspersky, the co-founder of Kaspersky Labs, made the claim that Bitcoin was a project by American intelligence agencies.http://bitcoinist.com/kaspersky-labs-co-founder-says-bitcoin-created-american-intelligence-agencies/

Interesting, but not very compelling. If anything, these claims are just a business development move (targeting the Kremlin) after the US government kicked Kaspersky to the curb last year.

Besides why the hell would they bother to create bitcoin something pseudo-anonymous? everyone knows that the US is "fighting" terrorists and terrorists are very dangerous and has a very sophisticated system to communicate and finance their activities, if the US created bitcoin they would be offering a great advantage to the terrorists

That's one of the only aspects that makes sense to me. If anything, Bitcoin users (including criminals) have misunderstood Bitcoin's [lack of] privacy since inception. The whole narrative that "Bitcoin is anonymous" has turned it into a huge honeypot for criminals.

Last time I read a very trustworthy article by the Clowns for People foundation, it was stated that Chuck Norris is the real brain behind Bitcoin....

On a more serious note, people can speculate as much as they want about Satoshi, but it will never result in anything specific or truthful. I don't even understand why this is still such an attention drawing subject. Satoshi has no real importance anymore when it comes to Bitcoin, aside from his massive coin stash, where the number of coins he allegedly owns is very debatable. It's just one of the many articles nowadays containing nothing but nonsense. I some times still see news coverage about Craig Wright to be the real Bitcoin founder, and all that because he has shown a few very untrustworthy entities the "proof" they were looking for.  Roll Eyes

KASPERSKY LABS CO-FOUNDER SAYS BITCOIN CREATED BY AMERICAN INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES

In a recent speech, Natalya Kaspersky, the co-founder of Kaspersky Labs, made the claim that Bitcoin was a project by American intelligence agencies.

Cruise around the internet long enough, and you’ll come across a wide range of conspiracy theories. Most of them are pretty outlandish, and the people propagating such claims tend to be of the highly eccentric (to put it mildly) type. Every once in a while, however, a theory is pushed by someone who has a great deal of standing. The latest example of this is Natalya Kaspersky claiming that Bitcoin was created by American intelligence agencies.
AN INTERESTING AND UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE

Natalya Kaspersky is the co-founder of Kaspersky Labs, a highly reputable cybersecurity firm headquartered in Moscow. She is also currently the CEO of the InfoWatch group of companies. She recently gave a presentation called “Modern technologies – the basis for information and cyber-wars” at the ITMO University in St. Petersburg.

During her presentation, this little bit of information appeared on a slide:

Bitcoin is a project of American intelligence agencies, which was designed to provide quick funding for US, British and Canadian intelligence activities in different countries. [The technology] is ‘privatized,’ just like the Internet, GPS and TOR. In fact, it is dollar 2.0. Its rate is controlled by the owners of exchanges,

I WANT TO BELIEVE

Her nuggets of wisdom didn’t end there though. She also said that Satoshi Nakamoto is not a lone programmer, but he is, in fact, a pseudonym for a group of American cryptographers.

Even the smart phone did not escape her unique perspective. She said that such devices could not be considered a personal gadget at all. The reason is that it “is a remotely controlled device designed for entertainment, work and at the same time for spying on its owner.”

These are some pretty amazing accusations, and it is interesting to see a segment of people agreeing with her online. To be honest, such talk makes me think of toil foil hats and worries about world governments using satellites to beam microwave signals into your noggin.

Of course, if the US government created Bitcoin, then they’re doing a pretty bad job at handling it. They’ve lost a ton of money by prematurely selling off seized bitcoins from the Silk Road.
