It is good that criminals are getting exposed based on their blockchain trail, whether it is done by the ICE or a company like Chainalysis. What is bad is that basic privacy practices are not being followed by people using Bitcoin. It is only a matter of time before anonymity-focussed cryptocurrencies are used for such purposes.

Do you really believe that the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is really employing complex blockchain technology exploitation tools? No, because they are corrupt, incompetent and do not know anything.

What they probably did was hire Chainalysis hehehe. So they should not try to make themselves look like they know what they are doing if it concerns the cryptospace.
