That's a solid 20 thousand dollars for some super bowl seats. And that's calculated at a relatively low bitcoin price. I had no clue some are going for such a high am punt of money.

It could be that people are just looking to enjoy their profits, which is something that I can understand. If you bought in last year, you're still up massively. It's not always the smartest option to cash out your profits in form of fiat due to obvious reasons, so spending them on goods (tickets in this case) is a great alternative to remain somewhat under the radar. I actually prefer people to spend their profits rather than cashing them out to get their bank account filled. Spending stimulates this ecosystem and shows that there are people actually looking to use it for something different than speculation.
