Jordan Belfort is a convicted scammer. He has yet to pay restitution to the people that he stole millions of dollars from. He has no credibility.

He is no more than a footnote to Charles Ponzi, and not even the greatest footnote.

The so called Wolf of Wallstreet wants to stay relevant just like Jamie Dimon and will says anything that will attract attention. He's been attacking bitcoin for quite some time now and its easy to see why he hates it. He was late in investing, and we all know how greedy this guy is.

Or maybe he is afraid that some of  the money from the traditional stock market is going to the crypto that's why he is very envious of it.

I totally disagree with him, we can't really compare the tulip mania or even the dot com bubble to crypto's. He better shut his mouth when bitcoin will go to the moon at the end of the year.

Bitcoin price: Expert warns cryptocurrency will become a 'FOOTNOTE to the tulip bubble'

BITCOIN's skyrocketing prices have been compared to tulip mania that took over Europe during the 17th century – but "real Wolf of Wall Street" Jordan Belfort is claiming the cryptocurrency will ultimately lose its attractiveness.

The comparison to the 17th-century tulip craze in the Netherlands has followed bitcoin since its infancy.

Tulip mania is another way to describe a speculative bubble where the natural worth of something is sent upwards by irrational demand.

The tulip craze saw the price of a tulip bulb - thought to produce unique and valuable flowers - move from being valued at the same as a country estate to dropping down to less than the price on an onion.

Mr Belfort, nicknamed the Wolf of Wall Street, has dismissed comparisons between bitcoin and tulip mania.

e said: “The chances, in my mind, of bitcoin becoming anything more than the greatest footnote to the tulip bubble are zero.”
