Just sent bitcoin and happy cause the fee has decrease tremendously. I just sent a small amount so it is favorable for me because the fee didn't take that much of the whole amount and if ever I sent it months ago then the amount that I sent would have been all just fee. I believe segwit has been a big help as well for the fee to decrease. Some campaigns in here are using the segwit wallet which has lesser fee than the legacy wallet so even though it may be just a small part, it is a big help as well.

With the implementation of the Lightning network, the fee would become lesser and more people would use it which would be good as the demand and price of the coin would increase. The anti-bitcoin cannot use bitcoin fee anymore as a reason to talk bad about it.

Then, high transaction costs in operations with digital gold led to a crisis in the network. Many companies refused to accept cryptocurrency such as game service Steam and the payment provider Stripe.

Nope. The services having stopped accepting Bitcoin are nothing more than a bunch of hypocrites. They blame all types of external reasons (fees, volatility, etc) for no longer accepting Bitcoin as payment option, while they don't dare to admit that they are disappointed in the fact that not many people are actually using their coins to purchase from them. It has been like that far before the fees were even a question, where on top of that, the market has always been volatile. We'll see whether or not they will bring back Bitcoin's payment option when lightning network is being deployed globally, and thus fees can't be used as an excuse anymore.... If you accept Bitcoin as payment option thinking that your sales will boom, then prepare for a big disappointment. People, regardless of the fees, will NOT let go of their coins.

Rather high bitcoin network fees were the main theme of debate last year, but in 2018 their rate has sharply decreased. According to CoinMetrics data, the bitcoin miners now collect less than a third of the value they had in fees in December 2017.
The value of fees in the bitcoin network reached a maximum of $ 34 in December 2017, which is 43 times higher than the current value. Then, high transaction costs in operations with digital gold led to a crisis in the network. Many companies refused to accept cryptocurrency such as game service Steam and the payment provider Stripe.
