Cryptocurrency has become the hackers' paradise all because they can still get away with it and it is almost impossible to trace the hacked funds and get it back. We are still at the mercy of the hackers these days. But a sure that as soon as cryptocurrency will start to get mature this can be slowly changing. The victims of hacking have to fight back it is just that now there is no effective tool for this. We are then hoping that soon a technology can change this situation in favor away from the hackers. I hate these people because I also belong to the victims' statistic.

I don't think that 99% is an accurate number but I do agree that a lot of hackers will be focusing on cryptocurrency now. With the suddent growth in attention for cryptocurrencies and the way they need internet for the majority of the transaction it will come to no surprise that criminals will take advantage of it. As their are a lot of vulnerabilities which a criminal can exploit. From HYIP to phishing sites and even key loggers there are many threats where they can still our money.

According to Yibencaijing (a FinTech media in China), a hacker interviewed recently said that there will be 99% of hackers turning their eye on cryptocurrency. They are in a completed industrial chain cooperating to collect information, hack where they aimed and finish ‘coin’ laundering. The core reason for them boldly doing this is that cryptocurrency is still in the gray zone, and many countries have not legitimized it. Newly-founded exchanges are their best target.
