Not really surprised about the news. It was only a matter of time before a big multinational tech company like google delved into the blockchain business, although it will be mostly unrelated to cryptocurrencies. Google also invested heavily in startups that specialize in blockchain and digital ledger technology last year, this can be seen as a strategy to tackle startups and rivals by buying them out.

More and more industries and business firms big and small will soon be adopting the blockchain technology to suit their needs and their ecosystem with the view of improving existing ecosystem or altogether creating a new one. As many people are saying the real revolution is actually the blockchain technology and not Bitcoin that is why even China which banned Bitcoin is now playing with the blockchain for different applications.

This week Google made known about two separate Blockchain projects it is working on: a “tamper-proof” auditing system and a cloud operations platform.

According to a patent originally filed in September 2017, plans are underway to create a so-called “tamper-evident” ledger on the basis of Blockchain.

At the same time, Google’s Alphabet Inc. conglomerate is looking to utilize the technology to create a transparent audit review platform, Bloomberg reported March 21 citing anonymous sources at the company.

People fear about the crypto ads now can understand what is next move of Google team. When the news came out also they states that they will stop the crypto related ads from the coming June onwards only dude.
Before that they will complete the blockchain project and withdraw the previous news may be.
I am not sure blockchain has been transparent to someone. Since it is anonymous way transaction mode.

If so then these two separate blockchain projects will bring more transparency in the cryptocurrency platform. Besides, ‘’audit review’’ is going to create another working platform for blockchain users.
