Hello Mark, didn't we have like 0.167 BTC in our wallet yesterday?
Oh.... Yes babe, but I bought something nice for you with Bitcoin, you know, for our wedding.... I hoped you wouldn't notice.
It's all fine, can't wait to see what you'll be coming up with.
On a serious note, I am not at all surprised or happy about these things anymore. It's a currency and a form of money at the end of the day, so we should expect adoption and acceptance to pick up throughout the years. Imagine with lightning network how people can have channels open for frequent 'business', where if it was a worthy experience, you could just tip her some Satoshis as form of appreciation. I remember how people back in 2015 were still getting excited when businesses started to accept Bitcoin, while now it's nothing special anymore. In the next few years even street dealers will be accepting payment in crypto, likely Monero.
