This is a good news after realizing the fact that NYSE is already working in collaboration with blockchain.

It's not really news, but just a thought. It all comes down to how much potential this market has, and they definitely want their cut of this rapidly growing market. It's common sense rather than something most people here consider to be good news. Currently people are happy, which pretty much shows that we're still in a niche market era, but that will change once these events (once they actually happen and not remain a thought) rapidly follow each other up. Years ago merchant adoption was reason for people to celebrate, where now these professional parties entering the market is the second stage. What's next? Banks allowing people to hold crypto balances? It's all a matter of time....

Nevertheless, the NASDAQ and not the NYSE, is the first of the major American exchanges, which will work with cryptocurrencies. It will be simply amazing if you can trade cryptocurrencies for Fiat money on NASDAQ!

Nasdaq is open to becoming cryptocurrency exchange, CEO says

Once the regulation is smoothed out and the space "matures", Nasdaq would consider becoming a digital currency exchange, the company's CEO says.
"Certainly Nasdaq would consider becoming a crypto exchange over time," Nasdaq CEO Adena Friedman says.
