Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
They still haven't changed much. I just went to the site and the first thing you stumble upon is:

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a top digital currency and continues to grow as people learn about its breakthrough potential as a peer-to-peer digital payment system. For a refresher on what Bitcoin Cash is and other things you need to know about BCH, check out the Getting Started page—a collection of essential Bitcoin Cash information, guides, and reviews.
(Update: Bitcoin Core is less usable as money due to much higher fees and delayed transaction times
.

Uh, top cryptocurrency is apparently BCH, a shitcoin worth 7 times less than BTC Cheesy Also, it seems that Segwit transactions are expensive and slow. It costs me a few cents to send 1000 USD across the globe and it takes about 10 min, but it's slow and expensive according to Roger. This guy is so cringy.

No worse than labelling BCH ticket as BCash. Everyone has its agenda, we are just humans, but the thing is blockchain known as BTC had hardfork in 2013 already and blockchain known as BCH had two hardforks already (2013,2017). No one uses the original Bitcoin anymore, no need to fighting for names/tickets. I wonder when the blockchain states become decentralized and wont need coin names/tickets anymore - because currently it is just another centralized joke. It reminds me its very, very long way for next generations to decentralized society.

BCash could have been more successful, if he did not use these dirty tactics and now negative news in mainstream media is being blasted to all the ends of this earth to expose him as a snake oil salesman. He is sabotaging his own investment with all these dirty tactics.  Wink

It's a common misconception to think that Bcash has some merit and can or could have been a good coin. In truth, it has zero innovation, there are hundreds altcoins with big blocks and they have been around for years. When Bitcoin transactions are getting expensive (they are dirt cheap today, but might get expensive with a new trading volume explosion), it's still not the reason to use Bcash, because altcoins like Litecoin and Dogecoin offer very cheap fees, they are very stable and tested by time, and they are not controlled by just a few individuals.

What to expect from a man who has been convicted for Selling Explosives on eBay? He is in cryptocurrency only from profit and nothing more,I think it's clear for everyone. The fact that he is financially powerful gives him the ability to manipulate people and the media, and even to fork BTC with the obvious intention to deceive as many people as possible.

Some people once called him Bitcoin Jesus-now he definitely deserved to call him Bitcoin Judas

I think the important thing is to be clear that the orchestrated attack to change Bitcoin failed. I do not think that a project that has as its purpose to be free and decentralized should have an owner and if there is no such figure of owner the idea that a group can call for changes must be accepted and debated.

But the central issue is that the debate took place, a new chain was created and failed to win the majority. End of story, accept defeat and move on. Continuing to attack the way they were doing is bad for everyone involved.

Roger is a great person, he was very important to Bitcoin and he was always in love with the possibilities that this project would open. It would be important for him to understand that everything he has done post-July is more damaging than beneficial to the future of a decentralized economy.

Roger Ver is not a great person. Let's just get that out of the way first. He pumped and supported Bitcoin until he made a huge profit and then he wanted to repeat that with Bitcoin Cash. He is busy with dirty marketing tactics to pump BCash and once it reach a specific price point, he will sell and move onto the next project, where there are profits to be made again.

BCash could have been more successful, if he did not use these dirty tactics and now negative news in mainstream media is being blasted to all the ends of this earth to expose him as a snake oil salesman. He is sabotaging his own investment with all these dirty tactics.   Wink

Pathetic being he is. Bitcoin doesn't need any promotion to be seen or used, altcoins do. It's however even more pathetic if one of these altcoins needs to gain importance by lifting itself on the name of Bitcoin, and directly also knowingly mislead the ignorant newbies. Regardless of what questionable things Roger Ver did in the past, I kept respecting his early day efforts for Bitcoin, but that respect is fading quickly with everything he's doing against Bitcoin in more recent times. Even though he was a millionaire before Bitcoin, the far majority of his current wealth comes from Bitcoin, and is based on Bitcoin, which applies to his fork project as well.

He abuses what I consider to be one of the most powerful domains to trap in people not understanding what's going on.

Absolutely. I was thinking about how we as community could raise funds together to get him to sell that domain to us from where we donate it to the owner and operator of the bitcoin.org site. On the other hand, with his hidden agenda, and his massive wealth, I'm sure that even an offer of $5-10 million wouldn't tease him to sell it.

I don't like regulations and don't think they are necessary, but if one day Bitcoin will become regulated, there's a huge chance that Bitcoin.com will get closed or at least forced to scrap their Bcash propaganda. Imagine what would happened if someone launched a company called "Visa Cash" and tried to confuse people into thinking that it's the real Visa. If Bitcoin was regulated, the current Bitcoin.com's behavior would be treated similarly.

It may be the threat of litigation which has forced his hand. That said, certain noobs may still get misled because Bitcoin Cash still has the Bitcoin brand. It would have been ideal for the fork to start with a new name, but that wouldn’t even be half as successful.
No matter how they fork they wont able to achieve or reach on what bitcoin is doing now.The thing here is that they do able to redirect specially newbie ones that to believe that bitcoin is BCH. Such step do really deserve on what they had made which is really disgusting they are claiming that BCH is Bitcoin? How come? They are trying too hard.

That dude has serious mental problems. Bitcoin made him become what he is today, and he is trying to tarnish it right now, that's a solid sign of being an evil minded jerk. Forking Bitcoin is something that anyone can do, and it's all fine, that's the freedom you have, but this is just disgusting. He abuses what I consider to be one of the most powerful domains to trap in people not understanding what's going on.

Right now when I visit the home page of that site, it shows;

What Happened to Bitcoin?

The Bitcoin Core (BTC) network is in trouble due to high fees and slow transaction times. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is the upgrade that solves these problems.

They try to create confusion by stating; learn Bitcoin, explore Bitcoin, etc. If you click on the links, you are being moved to BCash garbgage, and that while they in some sections of their site differentiate both coins by calling them Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Cash. They need to rework that entire site to no longer put the term Bitcoin there where they refer to BCash.

Following a heated backlash and some legal threats, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) proponent Bitcoin.com has updated its block explorer page to remove any language suggesting that BCH is the real Bitcoin (BTC).
Bitcoin.com (not to be mistaken with Bitcoin.org which is dedicated to the development of BTC) came under fire from the cryptocurrency community after it recently made confusing changes to its website, labelling BTC as “Bitcoin Core” and BCH – simply as “Bitcoin.”
