They are making empty promises to promote this petro coin which is a centralized altcoin made to boost a dying economy. A country that launches one cryptocurrency and at the same time punishes people for mining another one is not to be trusted. I do not believe that in this forum there is room to discuss this coin. It has nothing to do with Bitcoin. It is a centralized virtual currency, equal to the currencies used in any game.
