His books made him famous but his real life is destroying him.

That's a great line!

I had no idea about the behind the scenes stuff so it was interesting to get your take on it. I've always heard him being well-respected for his financial advice but like a lot of people there doesn't seem to be much there when you pull back on the curtain.

This is probably true. Ever since the USD is detached with gold, it has no internal value, they can print as much as they want. However, compared to other currencies like Chinese Yuan, US did not print as much paper money and USD is still well controlled.

Robert Kiyosaki has destroyed his reputation even before he has his eyes set on BTC. He is the one who declared his company is bankrupt in order to avoid paying liabilities which really is pretty ironic considering he made a lot of famous financial book guides still selling today. Even if he has positive opinion to BTC saying USD is a scam makes his positive look worthless as he has been bullish with USD on past occassions. His words right now has literally no value for me at all.  His books made him famous but his real life is destroying him.

What did he mean when he said "The US Dollar is a scam"? I really do not believe so. The USD is recognized by the whole world. But either way, I salute him for standing beside cryptocurrency. And I really hope that bitcoin will manage to be accepted around the globe. These positive people are what we need right now. We do not need people who talk about bitcoin in a negative way. So, at least, we could put our faith in these well-known people.

Kiyosaki has been one of my favorite authors when it comes to finance and he's one of the references to networkers because he supports it. He is respected when it comes to this industry so his statement would have a big impact to people because we know that when a respected person say something, those who follow him will listen and may even try to get involved with it and this time, it's cryptocurrencies. He needs to elaborate more about USD being a scam but then, it is good that we have an additional famous person that supports cryptocurrencies because we need someone like him in this bear market.

Check out this youtube video narrated by Mike Maloney.  He explains the fiat system and it's robbery of the public perfectly.

Well so many people keep calling cryptocurrency a scam that he's probably using the same terminology to describe fiat. The word "scam" might be too strong but I believe he means that USD isn't as stable as the government would have you believe and it can plummet just like we've seen with other currencies.

I have a lot of respect for Robert and his views on the global economic situation and the crisis that are building in the US economy. He has been criticized by a lot of people, who do not want to hear negative comments on the US economy, but that is their problem, if they want to go down with the Fiat ship.

His positive opinion on Bitcoin and Crypto currencies, just strengthen my believe in him as a person that can think outside of the box. ^smile^

Kiyosaki is a well-respected financial author. He has also predicted another major financial crisis around the world. It's interested to hear his take on fiat vs. Bitcoin and it definitely makes a lot of sense.

With the trade war between US and China, both currency could be in trouble, which is good for bitcoin.

My favorite part is when he says

Quote
Then there’s the people’s money, which is cybercurrency on the blockchain technology

and also this tidbit

Quote
The US Dollar is a scam…I think the dollar is toast because gold and silver and cybercurrency are going to take it out…The US Dollar is gone
