The bitcoin news channels are showing a level of journalism very amateur and without ethics. It is not acceptable for news channels to post rumors, see these words:

"I never thought I would hear myself use this term but I really have to describe that news as fake news."

this shows how the guy was shocked and with reason, have to stop publishing rumors

"Goldman Sachs Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Martin Chavez said that recent reports about the company abandoning its plans to open a cryptocurrency trading desk are “fake news,” CNBC reported September 6.

At the TechCrunch Disrupt Conference in San Francisco, Chavez reportedly said that reports about the company’s intentions for a crypto trading desk were unfounded:

"I never thought I would hear myself use this term but I really have to describe that news as fake news."

Those of us who have been long enough , knows that in most cases news are completely wrong, they are fast to look for any reason. I did not believe for a second that this is the reason for yesterdays dump.
I believe that that this vertical drop was unnatural and was induced by big players and this is a good argument to support this theory( huge short position appearing before big crash) :

This happens so often: the price moves, crypto journalists rush to find an explanation for it, pick some rumors, don't do any fact checking and immediately publish it, other sites copy it, and noobs believe it. At this point it doesn't even matter if the news were fake or not, because speculators are going to act regardless, just because they think that the noobs and other speculators will react. That's the recipe for panic buys/sells.
