How can anybody blame someone on mining crypto or say it is illegal ? Some websites nowadays have embedded script that can mine , like "rent each computer for a while".

Venezuela says "Petro" cryptocurrency pre-sale will be in hard currency.
On mining:
"It is an activity that is now perfectly legal," Vargas said. "We have had meetings with the Supreme Court so that people who have been victims of seizures and arrests in previous years will have charges dismissed."

They are moving to drop charges for those involved in mining? How will this be helpful to people who have already been arrested and served time for Bitcoin mining?
It is real ironic - my guess is if the government finds that there are no takers for their Petro currency, the Venezuelan government will continue with its previous crackdown on Bitcoin.
