This might not be significant at face value. It's just another business that is starting to accept bitcoin.

Although, this is happening in China, which is a country where the government has not been very supportive of bitcoin at all in recent times and with bans on a lot of areas of bitcoin trading and transactions.

A magazine of such longevity accepting bitcoin despite these government policies could be something major. Not only is it signaling adoption of bitcoin in China, it's also furthering the legitimate uses of bitcoin in China.

Its going to be a tough battle ahead of this publication. We all know that the government of China is very allergic with everything about Bitcoin so its just a matter of time before this publication will succumb to the pressure of the government to stop their idea to accept bitcoin as payment for their magazine. Well we love seeing companies starting to accept bitcoin, but there's no way that China will accept any exceptions to their hard line against crypto in general.

Is this news true? The Chinese government has been cracking down on cryptocurrencies. I don’t think this news is true.
