I'm surprised by two things, firstly that I completely missed this news, on other coinbase listings it was publicized everywhere and impossible to miss. Secondly that the price only pumped around 20%, XRP and ETC for example pumped way more than that amount when there listings were announced.

The newly added cryptocurrency has an eventful week.

The exchange announced on Tuesday that (almost all) users of Coinbase can buy and sell the new cryptocurreny ZRX. 0x is the first ERC-20 token added by the American crypto exchange.

Adding 0x is the first step towards a larger supply of cryptos on Coinbase. In the future we can expect more ERC tokens on the US cryptocurrency exchange.

Coinbase is America's largest crypto exchange and adding a cryptocurrency is therefore important news. We therefore increase the ZRX course enormously, namely by almost 30 percent. It is not surprising that crypto experts call this the Coinbase effect. Coinbase does everything it can to inform its users about exactly what the new currency is. The exchange also tries to provide its users with more informative information about cryptocurrencies in general.

Coinbase has a number of advantages. For example, the platform is very user-friendly, which is perhaps also the most important advantage. It has been designed for users in such a simple way that every user (from novice to expert) can invest in different cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum.

If famous wallets/echanges are having their attention on this ERC-20 token then I think we should too being part of their line-up should be a big deal as they made 0x available to the world just by offering the token in their platform. More people knowing the token would simply mean more demand for  us people. Once it is made available to its other problems, we could expect that more demand for the token would happen.

There isn't an official place to post such news in the altcoins sections or else we will be in the 10th page by now.

Good news for Ox (ZRX) for the first erc-20 token that reached the centralized wallet/exchange Coinbase./slight sarcastic voice/

The hype?, the clamor? even the silence about this development/announcement is the only thing I hear.

interesting how this news about 0x token got zero attention from the community
fitting perfectly  , Coinbase is looking at exchanges like Binance,KuCoin or Cryptopia with their tokens doing pretty well

and thinking: its time to cash in on that as well
they are late to the party  and it is going to take time to get it rolling, but think their tokens will be  getting their fair share of the market due to the  size of Coinbase customer's base

Leading U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has started listing 0x (ZRX) token, according to an announcement published Oct. 11. The move marks the first time Coinbase has added support for an ERC-20 token.

ERC-20 tokens are tokens developed and used solely on the Ethereum (ETH) platform, where ERC stands for Ethereum Request for Comment, and 20 is the number assigned to this request. ERC-20 makes the creation of new tokens extremely easy, which is why ETH became popular with crowdfunding companies working on Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs).

Per the announcement, Coinbase has launched support for ZRX on its professional platform, Coinbase Pro, although trading will only be allowed once sufficient liquidity is established. The exchange notes that a separate announcement will be made when the token becomes available on coinbase.com and on its iOS and Android apps.

ZRX trading will be available in most jurisdictions, except the state of New York during its initial launch stage. Coinbase has divided the launch into four independent stages for each new trading pair; ZRX/USD, ZRX/EUR and ZRX/BTC, while the exchange notes that currently it will not offer trading on the ZRX/GBP pair.

As Coinbase states in the blog post, in the first, “transfer-only” stage, customers will be able to transfer ZRX into their Coinbase Pro accounts, without an option to place orders. The second “post-only” stage will let customers post limit orders, however with no matches. The subsequent stages — “limit-only” and “full-trading” — will enable matching limit orders and full trading services, including limit, market, and stop orders respectively.
