news are making buy their owner , the BANK ! every 4-6 month ~ it s the same sing .... the same target,  they sold their Bitcoin, and make what it needs to get it low low low ... then they buy it again ........

last song get btc lower at 3000$ and jpmorgan bought for 30 millions of it !! after spit on it , some of their big guys says " hey it s the new gold ahahaha" and price get high again , pfff disgusting

again and again sheep listening news !

if they really fight good crypto projet , it only result bad things and bad use , cause only real anonym cryptos will rise ! in fact they just only promote darkside, but they dont care , they just want the control of little people and get your money back !

Those news will not hurt crypto anyway, look at the ways bitcoin increase without China. Forbit bitcoin and crypto will make some country lose in future because they have to buy with higher price in the future.

Maybe this is gonna happen in the near future. However, I think the taxes that can apply on crytocurries will be same as stocks, so that's not going to be very different from what are they doing right now with the stocks transactions.

They can’t kill crypto...but will definitely regulate them...politicians just cant digest these direct transactions however they are the key investors in crypto world....so trading will be same but structure changes

Governments are free to do what the want but because cryptos exist in the virtual world it is practically difficult to achieve whatever the government whats from this whole process but in some countries this is possible because some crypto services have physical offices where they can be reached out...

The government's interest in crypto currency allows them to regulate this currency, but I'm concerned that government involvement in this currency will adversely affect the development of bitcoin because of course the regulatory changes on the use of bitcoin

As long as worldwide country try to forbid crypto exchange, there is always still a space for crypto development.
What we need to worried is about the future of crypto which is assured it in the right direction.
Otherwise what we invest is just something of good profit

Governments can't control cryptocurrency.

😂 😂 😂

they definitely can, don't fool yourself. exchanges will need to be compliant, or will get shutdown. best of luck to waves (dex), and all you anarchists who think you're invincible...

Yes, government can... we can't play hide and seek forever with the government..

But I do believe, every country will benefit more by legalize cryptocurrency than ban it.. there are a lot of possibilities that the government can also get several (maybe huge) income by regulating the crptocurency in their country...

Your English is so raped, my goodness. And your questions, just as stupid as your existence.
You cannot say when governments would regulate crypto . Because it's the government you're talking about. It can be true and it can be false. Every country has their own issues and not all of them would like to deal with cryptos. They have better things to do. Even if governments regulate crypto you won't be affected much, you might just have to pay some tax for it. Maybe you'd have to face some more restrictions but other than that, everything should be just fine.

I think that in 2018 many states will begin to regulate the conduct of the ICO, the mining and the coin trade. On the one hand, this will help to avoid scammers, but on the other hand, many rulers can put too high taxes.

Governments can't control cryptocurrency. They can't ban it either. Just take a closer look at for how long they are trying to get rid of pirating over the internet? It simply can't be done because this is peer to peer tech, same applies for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Thry could however try to find your IP but then you could easily escape with some private VPN... banning is not an options.

It can't be regulated, they might try to regulate businesses around it like exchanges, merchants etc. but they can't regulate individuals. You can always mix your coins with bitcoin or even take some anon coin such as monero which is popular solution out there. It's really hard if not impossible to regulate it and tax it. It was made that there are no regulation.

This is false. There is no fix way of regulating the whole crypto world. It's just a dream. All they can do is announcing some regulations like China did last summer. And actually, they don't need to forbid them. They should legalize them.

majority of cryptos are decentralized the possible thing about the government be able to steer the centralized exchange site. But it looks not possible for the decentralized exchange site. as far as I know that so many countries will have tried it. But we must waiting for the more update about that. But they will never regulate the crypto it's impossible

the government may not know too much about blockchain and other crypto technologies.

there must always be pros and cons, people who do not like crypto, they always attack and make bad issues about crypto and also the situation is aggravated by ico scam.

maybe we should make a petition to the government to have them review and examine the world of crypto, is it worth to legalize or not.

Maybe much nearer to truth than the previous years. More are noticing bitcoin and this could lead to more government noticing and regulating or banning bitcoin. Anyway, I think it is better if there are some kind of regulation for bitcoin and crypto in general.

I am sure more governments will regulate trading in crypto and icos in the coming year. The USA already is prohibiting some companies from doing icos, Canada is looking at ICO regulation (kin coin is actually testing the new regulationsj. Exchanges will also be more regulated (south korea recently passed a law requiring exchanges to get more information from users and to prohibit anonymous accounts). I am also sure some totalitarian governments will try to prohibit people from owning crypto, but that would be difficult to enforce.

Last year was when governments truly started talking about regulations for crypto. You'll be pleased to know that while some have looked like they're trying to restrict it, others like Japan have led the way in legitimizing crypto (starting with Bitcoin). China is restricting and so is South Korea but they haven't actually banned anything, they are just being careful about how to go with them. US and Europe are also tightening, but they don't want to ban it, how can they when it's simply too much out of control? It's ICOs really that need to worry, not crypto.

Some of them will try for sure.
Russia plan release crypto-rub and most probably will try to ban others.
When total market cap pass 1 trillion, you could expect even more mainstream media attacks against crypto and for regulation.

We just need to be careful and watch the situation.

I hope not, but I think politicians will put a lot of taxes on the earnings that a person does with the trading .... I just hope that the governments prohibit the ICOs ... they are too many and every day a new one comes out

I'm predicting China/Korea/Japan will come out with not to harsh regulation in the coming months and prevent any crazy regulators from banning/destorying the crypto world. Because if they do, Asia will take the lead in this new economy and profit from worldwide investments, new jobs, additional tax income...
All will be good, not to concerned myself.

They will try to tax it to death and make it as complicated as possible.
In the US they already declared that when you're trading on crypto only pairs like BTC/ETH then it is a taxable event. Previously you only were taxed when sold crypto to fiat.

They can and will regulate cash out but its a cat and mouse game.
Once it becomes easier to cash out in altcoins or spend altcoins directly on goods it will become harder and harder for them.
Best HODL your coins until you buy what you need directly
If you do not cash out - at present - you do not pay tax
