yes you are right, due to some scams and fraud as per Ethereum best knowledge the upgrade was delayed, Hope this time it will go success.
It's true, there was a fraud when Ethereum would do Hardfork, so the price of Ethereum fell again, and hopefully at the end of February Hardfork Ethereum will get success.

Ethereum, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrencies and decentralized app platforms, was supposed to get an upgrade called Constantinople on January 16.
Alas, due to a security issue discovered just one day before the scheduled upgrade, Constantinople was delayed, and now we have a new date: February 27.

And then they will find another vulnerability and will suffer again, and then everything will subside and the fork will no longer be needed when the bulls come. I think this was done specifically to divert the attention of investors.

Hmmm ... your logic really gives me a smile while reading. Whether it's for the transfer of investors or not, all of this is full of vulnerabilities and is indeed at risk. We can only wait for what happened to Ethereum in February. I don't have any predictions about forks.

I thought it will only take up to a week but that's for real?

Are they trying to go along with the hype of ETF's result?
To make sure there will be vulnerbility in the code is much better rather than put the speculator as their priority.
There were hundreds of platforms are running in ethereum blockchain and that means this fork must safe from any vulnerability.
Yes, I understand that but I think it was just going to take few weeks for them to fix it.

I'll wait until everything is fixed and I hope the date they give is final.

Since the delayed was due to security threat, I think the Ethereum took the most important step which is to postpone the upgraded as continuing the with upgrade would have the Ethereum network comprised, A month delay could be worth the wait in the long run.

We even have a new date for the introduction of this update. A month and a half, of course, is a bit too much, however, nothing can be done. Vulnerability was discovered too serious.
Now, apparently, there will be no cryptocurrency movement until the end of winter. If bitcoin prices are still forecast to fall to $ 2500, before its possible growth, by the end of winter everything will fall back into hibernation. The period of stagnation, as I understand it, continues.

I am surprised what has happened with ethereum. why it is postponed the upgrade. It was first postponed to 19th January and now February. It is not the professional way to handle this.
They have to delay it for future test scenarios.

They postponed it Due to Security Vulnerability.

this is not only a professional problem or not, but the postponed out of hardfork ethereum is caused by third parties or chainsecurity who find potential problems that will occur in the ethereum ecosystem, if the ethereum core developer continues the constantinople hardfork at that time. you can read the reason here

Oh, i thought they can fix the problem faster.
The end of february is a late date for the new update of ethereum.
Hopefully this time everything works and there are no new errors.
Anyway, thanks for the update of the date.

Constantinople was delayed, and now we have a new date: February 27.

Woah, it's extremely late. I understand that Ethereum is big now and Vitalik & Co have to make sure all is safe when they deploy, but 1.5 month is much more than I expected. Maybe they try to recheck everything they didn't look at thoroughly in the first place for the Jan 16?!
