Here's one more gem, one of his earlier shills:

Safe Exchange Coin (SAFEX)

"Disclaimer: SAFEX is the majority of my holdings. I ran numbers for weeks before I chose it - knowing it had technical problems and that it would be delisted from most exchanges. But I have, to my knowledge, never lost money on an investment."

https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/941552609420247040

"I have no interest in dumping. SAFEX is a serious long term play."

Guess he's lost money on an investment by now.

He'll probably lose some more pride, if he has some left, especially because he's been so obnoxious with his prediction (the whole d*ck situation) but other than that I feel like you are completely right in the end nobody really cares.

Unfortunately he's neurobiologically incapable of feeling remorse. One of the benefits of being a narcissitic sociopath.

I really can't understand why this person still makes such statements.

Publicity. In the end, I strongly believe that he doesn't even care about his predictions, and he may not even care about Bitcoin at all. Just think about it, what happens when his $1 million prediction fails? People don't take it seriously anyway, so he's not going to lose anything. If news outlets ask him why it didn't work out the way he thought it would, he just blames the unpredictable nature of this market. You're either right or wrong at the end of the day.

I'm certain that his public circus show is meant to up himself as brand and from there become an interesting billboard for scams, because they can afford to pay his ridiculous asking prices.

It's been a while since I've heard from him in the media so he probably needs people to give some attention to his most recent shills.

At the end of the day he's a fraud and publicly sells out and somehow there are people dumb enough to fall for his shit, nothing new here.

I really can't understand why this person still makes such statements. He has declared that his coin Apollo is going to surpass the Top10 cryptocurrencies and substitute them. If Bitcoin raises in so much value then this is not going to happen. I wonder why he is lying so much and what are his incentives of doing so.

Every single prediction he's made about a coin has turned out to be very, very wrong. Heres one of his more recent shills:

https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/1060244879295549440

“I got a Skycoin tattoo today. My tech folks will stitch a two minute video together that should capture the essence of the experience. For now, this short clip should summarize. Why Skycoin? If you have to ask, you’ve been living in a fucking closet.” - Nov 7th, 2018

Of course he'll be wrong about bitcoin.

It's so funny if you think about it, the security 'expert' got hacked (if true), that's pretty deep.
Given how horrendously insecure his hardware wallet is, it's not outside the realms of possibility. Bitfi was claimed to be "unhackable", and then it was hacked repeatedly within a matter of days. Since McAfee apparently thinks that a brain wallet is the highest level of security available for your coins, I wouldn't at all be surprised if his security for his online accounts is similarly poor.

Bear in mind McAfee hasn't actually worked on any anti-virus software since he was kicked out of McAfee Associates in the mid 90s and they dumped his software. The fact he still touts himself as some kind of "expert" is the funniest part of all.

Funny thing is there are still a few people who believe in him. I still remember the last time he tweeted about XVG, the price got pumped heavily. A quick pump that lasted for a few hours. But now, any coin that has his name as an advisor is dying.
People will stop believing him the moment they start losing money, but the thing is that there are so many newbies entering crypto on a daily basis, that he always finds new people to trick.

I want social media platforms actively take down these shill accounts, because it's legit a problem, regardless of who the one shilling them is. I think with time we'll see it become reality. It just needs to become even more of a problem.

John McAfee once claimed that his Twitter account was hacked and that it were hackers shilling ICOs and not himself. It's so funny if you think about it, the security 'expert' got hacked (if true), that's pretty deep.

There's a name I haven't heard in a long time. What a trash coin that was. Looking at CMC, glad it seems to have died a death too. Marketcap peaked at $4.3 billion, now less than $100 million. Volume peaked at $1.4 billion, now less than $1 million.

The only coin McAfee has ever recommended that isn't dead or dying is bitcoin. Can we see that as a recommendation to ignore everything he says, or just to stay away from alts in general? Probably both.

Price goes up and down.  Higher highs, higher lows (on a time scale of years).
I could see the next ATH in the $100k range, maybe.
And then another 80% drop.
These are order-of-magnitude WAGs (wildass guesses).

Good thing about his predication is that he only says it will move upwards and not on negative side. Even we know market will climb up also it has taken a huge fall last year and now market has started to rise as well which is a good thing. But will it even reach 50-75k in future should be the question in coming years.

He was joined by Jesse Lund, who leads Blockchain and Distributed Ledger market development for IBM, in this prediction. McAfee twiited about it 3 hours ago:

Legit or not, I personally like such predictions when they made by famous people. False hope feels less stupid when respected members of the society express even more exaggerated expectations. Smiley

I think the only reason most of us like his prediction is the fact that he'll eat his penis if it doesn't come true. At least that's why I'm interested. That'd be hysterical.

Both CSW and John McAfee know how to trick social media thinking that they have skin in the game, but if you discard what they say and look at their actions, not much is left of them.

Or in other words: Do less, talk more.

Yeah, it was really a good day for bagholders and pumpers of xvg. There's also his endorsement of bob repair which is just so ridiculous. I hope historians won't include McAfee in the future for some recognition he don't really deserve. He's like the Nicholas Cage or Adam Sandler of crypto who is trying to stay relevant again.

In my opinion, any sane person can say that in two years Bitcoin cannot cost one million dollars. This price is absolutely unreal. In general, I believe that Bitcoin will never cost a million dollars. Maybe someday he will be able to reach the price of $ 50,000, and then for a short time.

ah , the only thing I'm sure about after reading J.McAfee's prediction of  bitcoin hitting 1 mil mark before 2021
is that J.McAfee holds some solid amount of coins in his coffers  Cheesy
I'm not so sure of that. The same applies to CSW where people assume that he holds a giant amount of Bitcoin, while no one here knows what his addresses are. It's all speculation at the end of the day.

Both CSW and John McAfee know how to trick social media thinking that they have skin in the game, but if you discard what they say and look at their actions, not much is left of them.

People with the lowest number of coins speculate about insane price levels to feel rich, while those who actually have a ton of coins mostly remain conservative. It makes sense as well if you think about it.

I don't think McAfee is a respected member.
I was literally typing this when you posted it. McAfee is a joke. The ICOs he shilled were purely for payment, as it emerged he was being paid over $100,000 for every tweet. Everything he did was for personal profit - he didn't care what he recommended, and he didn't care who lost money in the process, as long as he was paid. He's a criminal and a scammer, and the community would do well to ignore him.

Here are a few of his "recommendations":

Burst - https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/944206175100424193 - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/burst/ - dying, price from 12 cents to 0.4 cents, volume from $57 million to $12,000
Humaniq - https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/945293044252905472 - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/humaniq/ - dying, price from 61 cents to 0.8 cents, volume from $140 million to $50,000
Reddcoin - https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/944929837671690241 - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/reddcoin/ - price from 3 cents to 0.1 cents, volume from $200 million to $70,000

I don't think McAfee is a respected member. Seriously, what has he done for Bitcoin? Absolutely nothing. The only thing he did during the bull run was shill ICO's where people lost thousands of dollars in the process. In other words, he contributed to a hype that shouldn't be contributed to, and he motivated people to invest in something other than Bitcoin.

I really wouldn't mind seeing McAfee sell all his coins and exit this space for ever. Less people will lose money if he does.

What a comfort to know the same man running for US president while being an outlaw has reaffirmed (for nth time) his most (in)famous prediction. I will now sleep better at night. Maybe even sell my dignity for a bitcoin or two since I'll get a million out of it in little under two years.

I should probably buy his unhackable Bitcoin wallet too. Oh wait...

He better pray it hits at least $500k or he'll have to eat his dick.
Actually, seeing him deny things on camera, things he had said just months before, makes me certain that if it doesn't hit 500k or 1 mill McAfee will just disappear, or deny saying it, and he will not eat any part of his body, especially that one.

maybe also that with all the positive predictions lately , the trend is going to change from bear to bull
1 mil is not a realistical figure, 700k is not either ( hey Tim)
but bitcoin is clearly undervalued at the moment and the price will only be growing with time
As stated the market is growing with time the predictions and speculations weren't making a big impact upon the price of bitcoin. John McAfee being one of the most popular figure and a cryptocurrency supporter used to come with lots of prediction about cryptocurrency. Sometimes it looks little weird, now one such has happened. Let's wait and see how the market is reacting to it in the future.

The only realistic thing I have read about is that $5000 price in the end of this year which is typically possible but not to those exaggerated predictions
talking about millions per BTC. The only thing I do excite about is on that McCafee deal on where he would eat his d*ck if bitcoin wont reach a certain price point on 3 years(which is on 2020)

John McAfee Affirms One Bitcoin Will Equal a Million Dollars Before The End of 2020

A British-American Programmer and the founder of McAfee Association declared with all assurance that one bitcoin will equal a million dollar by the end of December 2020. Speaking in an interview, the programmer said he will eat his private part if his prophecy doesn’t come to pass.

"People are waking up to the fact that Bitcoin will be $1,000 000. But when? “Someday”. “Maybe 5 years”. “WIthin a decade”. I’m the only one giving you a hard date: Dec 31st, 2020.

https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/1098773528579588102

It is really a very serious affirmation for a man to stake his ‘life’ for a system he doesn’t even have control over. Speaking further he clarified that he reached as far as betting with his manhood to prove how sure he is that bitcoin will appreciate in value. Mr. McAfee said he doesn’t want to join the category of people believing that bitcoin price will rise someday, so he is definite about his prophecy.

Another enthusiast who believes one bitcoin will equal a million dollar is the vice president of blockchain and digital currency at IBM, Jesse Lund. When replying to a question on his expectation on the future of bitcoin, he told Crypto Finder that he believes one bitcoin will equal a million dollar someday.

He said:

‘I see Bitcoin at a million dollar someday, ‘I have actually blogged about this a little bit.’

“I like that number, because if Bitcoin is at $1 million, then a Satoshi will be equal to one U.S. penny, which would mean that there is over $20 trillion of liquidity in this network and this $20 trillion of liquidity would massively change the global financial services landscape.’

The Crypto VP of IBM believes this will happen in the long run but also said he is expecting bitcoin to rise to $5000 for one bitcoin by the end of 2019. His declaration is under probability because he didn’t stake anything to prove how sure he is.
