There are now actually many good innovations on the market just like this one being talked about here. And considering that the global market is quite big, we need more and more like this as this can help strengthen the demand side for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. However, in my view, we are just starting with things as the market right now is not yet that solid but maybe in the coming years we will see a different situation so I am expecting these groups to continue whatever they are doing and they should be be sharpening their marketing prowess as this can be the single big factor for their success. We have to remember that no matter how good is your offering if there can be critical number of customers for it then soon things can go south. Good luck to this start-up.

Besides, you claim to be able to pay directly with crypto in one thread which is pure bs as we know there is no VISA card that will do something like this.

Your sentiment is understandable with the number of questionable companies that had similar functions to ours. Fortunately, we don't bamboozle our users and we place the highest degree of importance on transparency. We've already been available to citizens of Spain for quite some time now, which gives us and our users confidence in the potential success of our current presale within the EU19.

in regards to our spammy flavour, we've never had this much press within such a short period of time and been super excited to relay the good news! Regardless, your feedback is duly noted.

1) You have not addressed the thing above
2) If you have a working successful product why launch a shitcoin?
3) Opening 5 topics a with a simple link and not bothering to say two words it's still spam flavored

1. When you pay with the card against your crypto balance, we instantly convert it to fiat, without fees. Apologies if the message hasnt been consistent across different posts + threads; We'll relay this over to our team.
2. The 2GT is an essential part of our collaborative model. It enables access and collaboration within the platform, rewards the members that create value, and captures all the value linked to the platform's growth. You can get more in-depth info here: https://medium.com/2gether/2gt-coin-the-key-to-2gethers-collaborative-model-480c8637f4b4
3. Thank you for the feedback. We'll change our posting format for future posts in this thread.

your card will be sent only to people living in the European Union and I do not see it as great news. There are some services that do this already. you will be just another service offering something that already exists. Why are you creating this ICO to offer something that already exists and does not even bring anything new? Why do you need other people's money to develop this project?

The same day, the firm also plans a pre-sale of its native token “2GT” via the app, aiming to raise €5 million (or $5.65 million). All EU citizens can participate, it said.

Oh, let me see...MinexPay / Minexcoin deja-vu ?
From the number of spammy flavor topics your accounts are posting lately seems like the sale isn't going right.

We invite you to make further judgements of 2gether based on our Whitepaper, Tokenomics, and Presale ANN.

Perhaps it's time to really consider a completely new crypto-fiat network like those POS terminals Singapore are trying with PundiX.

The only real way to make blockchain payments work in the real world is to work with the banks and financial institutions, rather than against them. Any coin that is mined will have it's inherant volitility, the transaction fees now make Bitcoin hopeless as a payment system. A "tethered" coin isn't the answer, but what I'm currently compiling might just poke the technology into the relms of usable as an actual electronic cash  Smiley

Something needs to change. This current avenue is a model that is dying at quite a rate. Since Visa will let any vegetable issue their cards I wonder where the weak link in the chain is.

Yeah, these cards are getting a ridiculous reputation now for being temporary. Touch and go for all of them, as they're really dependent on Visa to go the distance, amd they're not interested. There is one EU country with only 1 bank given Visa rights, plus passporting to EEA. It hasn't tried issuing crypto enabled cards and I wonder if it's because they don't want to risk the crypto aspect getting their licence reviewed.

We should welcome initiatives like this, with a lot of Banks that are turning their backs on Crypto currencies and clients linking their bank accounts to Crypto currency exchanges. The Banks that are grabbing this market segment, will do very well in the long run, because people will close their accounts with Banks that are alienating them and they will move to Banks that are supporting Crypto currencies.

Let's hope the KYC requirements will not be a "negative" aspect for the people who wants to legitimize their Crypto currency activities.  Roll Eyes

As soon as a company like this demands KYC procedures, I mentally check out.

Unfortunately its a legal requirement, and rightly so.

2gether customers passing know-your-customer (KYC) procedures
Yawn. There are already plenty of services to change bitcoin to fiat on-the-fly. The only thing different about this one is that it offers 6 altcoins, but 3 of them (XRP, BCH, EOS) are borderline scams. One of the things that I'm always eager for bitcoin to achieve is that you can stop letting some third party build a complete profile on everything you buy and every cent you spend like they can do with fiat debit and credit cards, without having to carry absurd amounts of cash around with you at all times. As soon as a company like this demands KYC procedures, I mentally check out. I'm just not interested in sharing all my private info with an unknown, faceless entity.

The trouble with all of these is the bit that attracts customers - the ability to spend fiat - is totally out of the hands of the crypto operation. It's all down to their card issuer and the chances are they're going to flake out at some point.

I hope it stays solid and succeeds but I don't really have faith in any card staying the distance any more.

Nice to see more competition where there is a demand. There are a lot of people looking for a Bitcoin debit card, It's something obvious when you read the topics in the "Service Discussions".
The thing stopping me is the sale for the native token to raise funds, even if the advantage is that there is already a product finished, as it's said. The site also says 2gether was founded in 2016, what has been done from 2016 to 2019?
