I did not know this app. I intend to download to try. But a big use case for cryptos is certainly the use in foreign trade. Being able to buy products from other countries without using a credit card is still impossible. But Bitcoin could allow that.
Do not download an app because a random article in an unknown site has been reported.
The app has been downloaded about 56 times and is a negative indicator. I have not read the article and I have no intention of reading it.

I think gonna take at least 5 - 10 years for a really big adoption

not really. i believe it won't take months for major e-commerce platform to adopt crypto as a payment method. but if you start from scratch, then yeah maybe it will take longer than that.

the app is more or less like Lazada and other e-commerce apps. the difference is that they accept Bitcoin as a means of payment. surely a good thing but net that ground breaking imo.

tnly time will tell if they will survive and get a good market share.

we are still very far from seeing mass adoption or even see bitcoin being accepted as a means of payments in many countries and that is because we are not taking great steps towards legalization of bitcoin in many countries. The years go by and we do not hear at least some parents say they have already legalized bitcoin. Is as if governments are hoping that some super powerful country give the first step

Any news that is related to the possibility of more Bitcoin adoption is always picked up by the cryptocurrency-focused media and can be because there is really a big interest on stories like this. We need more adoption and we need more infrastructure that can help towards that adoption. The only lacking in the big way are users and consumers who can be using the infrastructure to make Bitcoin eCommerce go around. We need more and more people to spend their Bitcoin and not just hold them indefinitely...actually this is a major problem for many merchants who are already into the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency bandwagon: lack of sales from people using cryptocurrency. Are we then now picking up the side effect of too much speculation?
