Coindesk is such a bad site with all their FUD news and stupid price predictions by that moron Omkar and coinidol is even worse with their defamations and spamming the forum with links to their stupid articles. Also coindesk is so fake with all the authors saying they don't own any cryptocurrencies or some insignificant amounts so that people wouldn't accuse them of pumping.

There isn't going to be more love in the community for a news site that attacks other news sites.

Coinidol, in fact, is much worse than even CCN. Coinidol isn't dead yet only because of 90% paid (and very cheap) fake traffic (pop-ups), sponsored articles and very small team (4-5 persons) with low salaries.

You are/were one of the prime Coinidol mouthpieces on here. What happened? Were you fired?

Crypto reportage is one of the most depressing aspects of this entire space. If it all died tomorrow the world would be in no way worse off. If there's real news to be reported then real outlets may start to to carry it.
I wanna say the same thing too which Vladdirescu87 is the main man when giving out CoinIdol news here on this Press Board and now
we are seeing that he do completely opposes and telling negative towards it.Then we can presume he was fired on his job.

I dont care on what truly happens with CCN but i do see this is clearly focusing on criticism towards its competitor.

The CoinDesk editorial team is not interested in clickbait headlines. They get first-hand information from market leaders, ignoring the small and medium segment.

Looks like Coinidol and CoinDesk couldn't come up with a better lie, just by visiting their website right now you will see most of their headlines are deemed to be clickbaity. Not only that they also provide recycled new already found in the internet. CoinDesk and CoinIdol are using this article as a black propaganda tactic which they try as hard as they can on showing that they are a different news source from the others when the truth is all of them are just the same.

But according to CCN,

https://cointelegraph.com/news/ccn-casts-doubt-on-shutdown-plans-as-google-appears-to-correct-visibility

Quote
Now, support from Google has apparently changed the plans for a total shutdown, thanks to further unanticipated behavior from algorithms, which are reportedly flagging articles under CCN’s old CryptoCoinsNews identity.

But this article though seems to be an attack on their competitor though, didn't read the article but how can coinidol criticized CCN about their business model? And what model does coinidol uses here? they are both in the business so I will assume that the only thing in their mind is to publish rehearse, spin off article, LOL. Maybe what Google see is that those articles are not unique at all that's why they are really affected by the new algorith by the big G.

They are blaming the algorithm change from Google for this, but it was only the trigger for something that was bound to happen. You can only operate a FUD show like that for a little while, until people start to question your platforms integrity and the agenda behind it.

Coindesk is starting to fall into the same trap and a algorithm change will not be needed for people to see right through their hidden agendas. I hope they learnt something from CCN's mistakes and start posting unbiased articles in the future.  Undecided

And why are they dragging CD into this? Didn't CD also take a 30% hit from Google traffic?

Probably because it's their biggest competitor, and they are part of Barry Silbert's portfolio. He is the CEO of Digital Currency Group. Barry can continue injecting money in Coindesk until they find a way to work around the change in Google's algorithm, or until Google adjusts it so that it doesn't affect sites as dramatically.

CCN is just a shit operation. If you don't have enough of a buffer to survive for at least a couple of months, you don't know how to run a business, period.

I'm embarassed to say I didn't know of that link actually! Silbert's really been making ground and if I'm honest, probably in the least trashy way -- not that it's difficult to stand out when the big names aren't doing their reputations any favour. DGC's been name dropped quite a bit I'm seeing (as is Silbert) and their PR machinery's very active on the interwebs, picking out mentions and newsjacking into a lot of sites.

Anyway, looks like CCN made a big deal out of this and hoped to get some reaction -- and it worked.

I stand with Ukraine.
CCN executives had panicked at first when their site lost 70% of traffic because of the update to Google’s algorithm. But right now it seems that things can go back to normal soon.

Btw, not only CCN was affected by the update. You can read more following the link below:

I've actually seen CT and CoinIdol distance itself from each other, and say that they have very different business models.

Not a particular fan of CCN but at least they've not been as guilty as CoinIdol (YES you CI) as publishing utter crap in this Press Thread. A bit shameful for you to knock on your fellow news people, whatever happened to journalistic solidarity?

this was an article to criticize CCN and at the same time promote coinidol. I confess I read and did not see details of how the business model of Coindesk and coinidol are different from CCN, all I saw were criticisms of CCN and self-promotion of coinidol. Something very, very ugly made by coinidol

I agree.

CCN was a very good site, I really liked the price analyzes they did because most of the time they hit, they also had very explanatory news. I do not understand why coinidol is criticizing so much, instead of improving its services

CCN is another project on the cryptocurrency market that is dead because of the wrong business model.
That's the opinion of co-creator of the business model for CoinTelegraph and the founder of Coinidol, George Gor.
This is a short review of how to survive in the cryptocurrency related media market and not repeat the fate of the bankrupt CCN but rather compete with giants like CoinDesk: https://coinidol.com/why-ccn-dead/
