Maybe one day I would be calling myself a Bitcoin skeptic and launch a "I-hate-Bitcoin" campaign so that I can also be receiving some Bitcoin donations to my wallet. Good for Peter Schiff, some kindhearted bitcoinists opened up their wallets and give the man some Bitcoin which he can keep and experience the real growth (as compared to the real gold). I hope he realized that we are now in the digital era and there is really nothing wrong with believing and investing with the physical gold, we should not also underestimate the innovations and changes that bitcoin is carrying into the future.

Oh and someone gave him a gift. Pompliano asked him for the address. He Tweeted it. Donations came pouring in.

And then we see charity addresses struggling to get anything.

Figure out this Bitcoin community sometimes.

Not really surprising. People act tough and say Peter is a hater, but at the same time are so desperate to prove a point to a person who clearly isn't going to concede.

People donating any amount of Bitcoin to Peter don't have enough respect for Bitcoin, and don't have a clue about how precious it actually is. One should not give a multi millionaire skeptic a single satoshi, period. Go buy something through Lightning and contribute to the ecosystem, not waste your money on him.

People having donated to him have failed the test. You suck. That also applies to Pomp.

WTF?Sending donations to a guy,who is:
1.Bitcoin skeptic.
2.Rich.
What's the point? It would be great to donate some btc to the poor or for medical treatment of people that really need that money.
By the way, sending bitcoin donations means that this guy has a bitcoin wallet.Or somebody just have him the account credentials of a btc wallet with 1350 USD?

My first thoughts exactly. They want to prove a point? Doesn't need proving. Schiff himself can see his $100 grow on his own. I really don't get what they're trying to prove or why they even need to prove it. Pompliano also, taking all his rants public, I really wonder who these Galaxy Digital investors are, willing to put their money with a guy who spends his whole day picking playground fights with boys in suits and ties.

I think that Schiff will roast Bitcoin the moment it drops below the value when he received the funds. This guy just isn't clean-- he probably hopes it goes down by 90% rather than go up by 1000%.

I think so too. It's a waste of good bitcoin on this man. Are we now going to throw bitcoins at every naysayer out there? Are they trying to make him appreciate bitcoin by giving it to him? If he doesn't like it it won't change his mind. Even if it goes up in value he won't like it because he doesn't like the idea behind it.

I prefer to see him act like a frustrated nocoiner each time Bitcoin touches newer highs-- he recently said that he doesn't believe that Bitcoin will break its current $20k all time high, and I'm pretty sure he means it.

It's an utter waste of time and a precious asset trying to donate him Bitcoin in the hope that he stops being the anti Bitcoin jerk he has always been. There are better ways to utilize funds....

‘I Guess I’ll Have to Hodl It’
Im wondering on whose next would able to say such line and it's no surprise for those people who do said negative views towards Bitcoin but they are

actually holding some of it.I dont even care if Schiff do get those coins as a gift or just simply an alibi in the truth that he do have some number of BTC on his storage.
The important thing here that BTC prove out that their wrong into their previous insights.Nothing new on here.

‘I Guess I’ll Have to Hodl It’ — Peter Schiff Admits to Having Bitcoin

Veteran gold bug and bitcoin (BTC) skeptic Peter Schiff has accepted delivery of $1,350 worth of the cryptocurrency after the industry sent him donations on July 4.

Schiff, who is well known for warning investors not to trust bitcoin as a replacement for gold, triggered the goodwill gestures after becoming the topic of a Twitter debate with Morgan Creek Digital co-founder, Anthony Pompliano.

Pompliano (also known as Pomp), highlighted the fact that Schiff does in fact own some BTC despite his negative comments.

Schiff responded that the BTC was a token amount given as a gift - just $100 - after which Pompliano requested his BTC address in order to double it.
