Is there a betting site that supports this? It's not the best betting game after all since there could be biased judging in here right?
Actually this is kinda interesting, but depends on the people. I don't think most gambler are into this kind of things.
Well, who would've thought that this kind of competition can also be bet on, right? I'm new to this, as well. Grin But as you have said, I don't think this would catch the attention of most gamblers. This is kinda catchy to those who really loves music, avid fans, and those who have money and just want to try and gamble.

Anyway, all of them are great singers but I'm a fan of Jonas Brothers since highschool so no matter the odds, I'd go with them. Grin
Here's your favorites, they have good odds.

Well, would you look at that! That is quite good, indeed. I hope they would win this year's award. Grin However, I don't expect that much, though. They still have tough competitions after all. But as what I have said, no matter the odds and no matter the result is, I'm still a fan! Grin Thanks for the info, btw, @mirakal. Smiley

It's embarrassing all my years of betting I have not come across betting on who would win a musical award.
The MTV base music award will be my starting line I think.
But it there a chance that the winners Can be linked before time?

For sure guys. You can suggest to us some event to add here, by PM-ing us or by reaching us through our other social media. Vox populi is what matters the most, right Smiley

This is what i like where you do hear out communities concern.Time to make some suggestions. : D

Isn't all these music video awards rigged? What I know is that some people already know who the winner is days prior to the actual event so those speech of "I was not expecting this" were actually fake.

Grin Anyway, you don't expect things to be that 100% uninfluenced. I can relate with your opinion but such speeches of not expecting the award to come to them is meant to the sincere mind to hear, that person or those persons that are not in-house. This is also the reason some people feel that gambling results are one way or the other influenced.
Thats how things works and as a human being it cant really be avoided or some sort of paranoid when it comes to these possible influenced or rigged results of such contest.

Same thing goes for gymnastics, figure skating, etc. but people still like to bet on these types of events.
I think it's because it's their jam. It's like a different choice in music, but here a different betting events.

I'm sure Ariana Grande will easily win this, "Thank u Next" and "7 rings" were #1 records and I heard those being played everywhere.  She also got hyped up a lot by performing with Nsync this year.
It has been decided but I'm not seeing Ariana's song :/ I was expecting this also.

Is there a betting site that supports this? It's not the best betting game after all since there could be biased judging in here right?
Past experience on mtv hold before has been compromised and betting on human judgments has never been the right ways to bet. You may speculate that someone is going to win and the person ought to have won but the biased judge will come up with the different person and you will lose out.
There is a audience vote in here right? I hope that could add some criteria on judging if there's none.

Like this event, you can suggest this to list on the "Special Events" of onehash.com.

I've seen a similar event and other strange events to gamble with on their platform.
Suggesting to different gambling websites is good, but right now there is very low visibility to these events. This way it won't attract large userbase towards the gambling websites. As you've mentioned if some special programs were added to the list earlier we can expect them list this program.

As you can see in the image you can truly suggest an event on OneHash but I am having any difficulty accessing this at the moment, Well I never know why, But if the user base for an MTV event is pretty much large I guess OneHash will surely approve for this suggestion, And I know that MTV right now has a spot for K-pop music well I am not against Korean music but if that category is very trending I guess some music enthusiast would prefer voting and bet for their favorite artist.

And I haven't seen any MTV awards category at the moment but you OP can sure suggest it on OneHash, And the active and latest on that special content was the Nobel Peace Price Winner well if that event make it to OneHash betting I guess this kind of event will make its way as well.

For sure guys. You can suggest to us some event to add here, by PM-ing us or by reaching us through our other social media. Vox populi is what matters the most, right Smiley

It's kinda new to me also but I don't think it's biased at all. Since there are factors to be considered when judging who'll win. I don't know the criteria of this but most awardings would look to the popularity (votings by fans), sales, charts, and etc.

Actually this is kinda interesting, but depends on the people. I don't think most gambler are into this kind of things. But regardless of it, I'm rooting for Shawn Mendes

I see that more and more of these events are becoming available for betting but I also see lack of interest to bet on these events from many gamblers.

These events may be good to pass the time or have a bit of fun but these are in no way real money makers like sport betting are if you have enough knowledge to win a multiple bet.

Well yeah, most gamblers care a lot more about sports then they care about a commitee of people randomly picking someone to win an award based on random arbitrary feelings of the judges and the committee themselves.

It's even been shown time and time again that these awards are garbage and are bought and paid for by performers, agents, consultants, etc as a way to bring more legitimacy to tv show, actor, music creator (as this one is) and such.

So yeah, this is a garbage thing to bet on.

Its ridiculous to the kinds of events you can make a wager on based on the public's demand for it
But money is money and if you have a edge then its in your best interest to find a place to wager
Hopefully OP was able to bet on Ariana Grande since thats who he predicted would win and it won

At -275, I don't like the odds although she has a big chance of winning, normally if I make a bet, it should not be the heavy favorites as I don't see value in the odds offered, it's either I bet on the other nominees or just skip this betting and just enjoy watching the show.

forgot the odds . keep in mind that ariana is still one of the popular female artist abroad and almost all people on all ages have known her so she could have alot of votes resulting for her to win  . i see that your betting style is slight different from what most of the gamblers have but thats effective sometimes   . your right , youd better skip the betting if you feel uncomfortable with your pick  , besides you can still enjoy watching the show for good   .

Bovada do have this one and they do already accept bitcoin http://gpsts.org/bovada-accepts-bitcoin/

I'm also interested to bet on this event.

Bovada is one of the biggest sportsbook but I think they'll require a KYC even for bitcoin transaction, can anyone confirm here?

Just tried it earlier out of curiosity and yes, they require KYC even for bitcoin transactions. Even though they were highly unregulated 2 years back, they might have updated their terms since regulators are pressing hard on for regulations related to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. As for the event, I'm pretty sure onehash was offering the said line just days ago, though I'm not updated with it right now.

Will see, how we can see some update here about any site that would offer betting odds for this particular event.
I know Onehash, it's also a good site but I don't really play a lot of that site, hopefully we will see this in cloudbet, sportsbet, or in nitrogensports.

Possible but would depend if it do have sufficient demand or interest of this kind of event. If onehash do see that factor then they might consider on listing it but if not then it goes the other way.Mostly bookies posted above do require some KYC so its a NO-GO for everyone.

It’s fascinating how any event could be turned into a gambling opportunity when it comes to competitions similar to that. What I noticed in this kind of gambling game is that when it is new, and the winner is somewhat a wildcard, the odds of winning are difficult to predict, And it gives high multipliers for betting in it which is kind of nice if you win.

When it comes to sportsbooks having a KYC, I wouldn’t want to participate in it.

The entertainment section of Bodog currently lists MTV Video Music Awards, but they didn't update it yet(Will probably do it soon). They also have listed several bets related to the Primetime awards if you are interested currently.

I have observed these kinds of bets before, but I don't recommend investing huge amounts unless you have insider knowledge.
