I agree that it is not going to be a comeback, they tried their best but their best wasn't enough. Jokic is just way too good for this league and they are doing something that can't be matched.
~
In any case, right now Jokic is unstoppable and he is on the way to win the title, he deserved it and he should have been MVP again as well if you ask me but he doesn't look like the kind of guy who cares about it at all, so FMVP must feel better.
What's weird about Jokic is that, he has made many achievement, broke many records already, and has made some historic numbers, but whenever the media ask him on how he feel about this accolades, he always say "Not that much" like he doesn't care about that achievements at all.

That Game 4 just showed how much difference the players of Nuggets and Heat have. The Heat players have the will to win, but the Nuggets have the will to win, players who can step up when needed, and talented players. With this 5th straight road win, the Nuggets have the complete control, and on the road to win the title already. Only 1 team in NBA Finals history has won the title after having a 3-1 deficit. Lebron James, Kyrie Irving and the Cavaliers back in 2016.

Anyway, I will share again some of the historic moments that the Nuggets have made in Game 4. (saw it online)
- Jokic, and Murray are the 3rd pair of teammates in NBA history to have 500+ points, 100+ rebounds, and 100+ assists in one postseason.
- Jokic is the first player in NBA history to record 250 rebounds, and 150 assists in a single postseason.
- New playoff-career high for Aaron Gordon with 27 points.
- Murray joins Magic Johnson as the only player in NBA history with 10+ assists in 4 straight Finals games.
- Murray is the only player in NBA history to have 10+ assists in his first 4 NBA Finals games.
- Brown, and Gordon are the 5th set of teammates to have 20+ points on 70%+ FG in a Finals game.

Truly the Nuggets are just amazing not only in the regular season, but even in the playoffs. Kudos to the Heat team for being the 2nd 8th-seeded team in NBA history to clinch the NBA Finals, but I think that the Nuggets deserves the championship this season.

Unless there's a turn of events where Miami snatch the title away from them, which is far, in my personal opinion, from happening.

Jokic will be the finals MVP as all of us witnessed how great he was in all aspects. The numbers state
it all and there's nothing that can steal the title aside from Miami winning the finals, and then again, it was too far
to happen, one more game and it might be the end of this series.
3 games remaining with a result while the Nuggets have a 3 win advantage.
I'm sure the Nuggets will finish the game faster where in game 5 they can have a win so Miami has lost hope of winning.
Nikola Jokic will perform better and it is possible that he will also become MVP in this season.
This would prove to be the strongest in the West region would be victorious.

I agree that it is not going to be a comeback, they tried their best but their best wasn't enough. Jokic is just way too good for this league and they are doing something that can't be matched. This was one of the reasons why I thought Doncic should have gone to Denver, yes they didn't had some high pick, they had 14th pick, but if they packaged it whatever they had at the time, maybe they could have gotten the pick, imagine a scenario where Doncic and Jokic plays together, that would be insane, their pick and roll would have been even better than Murray and Jokic.

In any case, right now Jokic is unstoppable and he is on the way to win the title, he deserved it and he should have been MVP again as well if you ask me but he doesn't look like the kind of guy who cares about it at all, so FMVP must feel better.

And I guess it's a blessing in disguise for Jokic losing the MVP to Joel Embiid this season. But what's important and what others players are also saying, that it's the championship that counts, not the individual award although it's good to have the trophy in your room. So I guess this will be the sweetest MVP that Jokic will get if ever they are going to win the next game at their homecourt and be the NBA champions. And if we will go back and see him reaching this heights, maybe we can say that it's just a matter of time and all the pieces working together. Him and then a healthy Jamay Murray and Porter Jr, and add Gordon who seems to evolved as he as obviously a high flyer and a dunker. But when we moves to the Nuggets team, his role has change.

Majority of the Denver Nuggets games starting from playoffs and to the current NBA Finals, there is no such thing where we can see Nikola Jokic having a worst night. As I mentioned previously, even on some games where they lose, Jokic is still ended up having a good production. And take note, not just his stats in offense but also having a good stats on his defensive end.

That's how versatile Jokic is and almost an all around player as a bigman at both offensive and defensive phase. There should be no such thing as statement as 'he deserved the Finals MVP'  because Jokic is really to bound to become the Finals MVP even before the Finals starts. Smiley

Nuggets is the team that have the best offense and best defense in the league. They don't only rely on Jokić, that's the best part. When Heat defend Murray and Jokić with 3 players, the others punish the defensive mistake. Aaron Gordon played his career game, Bruce Brown scored when all eyes on Murray and Jokić, KCP made two critical defense back to back and these all made the difference. Nuggets will finish this series at home, that's clear. And it's not Heat's fault, they faced against the best team in the NBA.
They did a great job taking the huge lead, though Denver might not be the best team with regards to offense for this season. Well, Heat already prove to be the best team in eastern conference, its just that Denver is too much for them. This will he a historic win for Denver, and I’ll go all in for the next game with Denver, take the risk or miss the chance.

3-1 Nuggets.
Lebron James and his crew back in Cleveland Cavaliers were the only ones who came back from that deficit against the Golden State Warriors. One of the most unforgettable Finals series in the league and it sure is written in history books about how impressive they are in those games.
Can the Miami Heat do the same? I'll leave that question.

I don't think the current Heat lineup will be able to do the same thing the Cavs did in the 2016 Finals. In fact, we can already say that the Nuggets have guaranteed themselves a win in this series and, consequently, the title. Special mention should go to Jokic, as he's performing much better this playoff run than he did during the regular season. It's funny that he didn't become the MVP of the regular season, but he'll definitely be the MVP of the Finals.
What you have written is totally correct but I was very surprised about the game 2 of this series. It was not Nuggets played bad but Miami Heat played splendidly and was just overwhelming for Nuggets. Heat were dominating. Apart from game 2 we have seen that Nuggets dominated quite hard but I can still expect a Heat resistance and I can see they win couple of games. After game 1, I was so sure Nuggets were about to win super easily but my views have changed. Even though I can see Nuggets are getting the title in the next game, we can also expect that Heat may surprise a lot of people.

The chance for Nuggets to finish these series at home is really high, they wanted to make sure that everything was done
and they will celebrate it with their home fans.

Though maybe Heat still try to make a stand here, if they manage to win in game 2 maybe they will find ways to keep trying and snatch another game
from Nuggets.

We never know but so far Nuggets really dominating all the players inside the court are adding great perfomances.

Statistically, it was possible to say that the Nuggets would easily win this series. But I think the Miami Heat have the potential to do incredible things in the playoffs, so I have faith that maybe they can win the final series as well. But right now we can see that they don't have much of a chance anymore. I'd love to see Butler wear a championship ring, but that's not going to happen this year.
Jokic will be MVP again and we will see the best team of this year for the last time Smiley

I’m not sure I’d give the Nuggets the title of the best defensive team, but they’re top 10 for sure. I think it’s their unorthodox offensive thanks to Jokic and unusually large athletic wings that set them apart. Having Jamal Murray as a scorer isn’t bad either. I think they’ll be the NBA champions this year and it’s highly likely that will happen on Monday.

Denver might not be the top defensive team according to the stats but they are in the top 10. The offense of Denver is just too much to handle. The presence of Jokic is always a problem for the opposing teams. The Joker can dribble, pass, shoot three-pointers, and set plays. And with Denver having a healthy Jamal Murray and with some reinforcements like Gordon and KCP. Every action an opposing team does on Jokic has an opportunity cost.

The only thing that Denver lacks is deep playoff experience which would've made it interesting if they faced Boston or Milwaukee in this finals. And with a championship ring, this team might be even more dangerous in the following years should they remain healthy.

Of they basically remain in tact this team will compete for the chip for the next 5 years.  They have a winning formula that can be repeated over and over.  Having jokic on the floor eliminates of a lot of the possibility of long stretches of losses.  Next years topics will be 3 things: can wemby play in the NBA to the same level, can anyone beat the Nuggets, and who and it can be anyone, will come out of the east.

There's a meme for that where Embiid and Jokic was racing for the regular season MVP but Embiid was surprised when Jokic just neglected the trophy and went ahead further down the road, which explains their situation now as he has all the reasons in the world right now to win the FMVP for having a great performance since the playoffs have started up until now in the Finals.

Denver is definitely the play tonight. Miami got lucky to win one game but they won't win another. Nuggets -3 to the bank.
I wouldn't totally say that Miami got lucky in game 2. I mean they have reach the finals already and defeating the #1 and #2 teams and #5 seed in the East. Because if we say that they got lucky means that they are not a good team. But they proved otherwise and remain the underdog throughout the playoffs and yet here they are in the finals and have another chance to win.

Although I would say it might be the most difficult series for them as it seems that Jokic and Murray are unstoppable and putting numbers during the height of the Lakers run, similar to what Shaq and Kobe are getting in the playoffs.

I agree. It is just that the Miami Heat always come short when it comes to almost every aspect in the game against Nuggets and even their offensive techniques as well as defensive strategies aren't really working against the Nuggets duo. Quite a low scoring game for the Nuggets because Jokic and Murray wasn't scoring the way they used to be but still the Heat struggled and never won a single quarter. Now that it is already 3-1, I think it's already too late for the Heat to make a comeback, especially in the next game where it will be in the Nuggets playground.
Miami heat struggling a lot in terms of defending Jokic and Jamal Murray which is pretty good enough if they can defend that duo then they have a chance to win the game because their main problem is that duo, cause we all know how they play and scored. Also jokic and Jamal Murray prove to us that they strong enough to carry their team.

Can the Miami Heat do the same? I'll leave that question.

I highly doubt it. Even if the Heat are shooting the lights out, the Nuggets could always retaliate back hit their own. The only Heat win was even a close one though, if Murray hit that 3 pt shot the Nuggets could've won it in the overtime and could've completed another sweep today lol.
The Heat were even forced to start Kevin Love to keep up with the size discrepancy. Since the beginning of this finals series, majority of the NBA fans were expecting the Nuggets to win it all this year.
The Heat have come a long way, I hope they will get Lillard next season so they can have a higher chances of getting a shot for redemption.
True. They almost gave up that game 2 for overtime, that is why I also highly doubted them.
But, if only they won one game on these two home games I will not be in a position to hesitate and tell that they have a chance. I did it after Game 2 because I really thought they could somehow fight back against the strong Denver Nuggets with an arsenal that is difficult to defeat. After Game 4 all that hope for Butler and the Miami Heat is gone. 2 games losing in front of your own crowd, that's not them. They are the ones taking from the road and not the other way around during their Conference stint.

As I said in my previous posts, it will all start with Butler either offensive or defensive stuff. He doesn't need to carry all the load but he must always make a spark for his team mates to keep on playing at their best.
It's not easy having players who are undrafted, they need someone to boost them up and their lack of experience is showing already.
Caleb Martin, Max Struss, and Gabe Vincent, all these three players are not the same as they were during their battle against the Celtics.
