Not this time. I'm sure Ginebra won't allow NLEX to come back, as it might cost them a game.

I hoped that Ginebra's wins sealed the speculations of possible bigayan issues just to extend the game to generate more income.

I think you are one of them who thinks that speculation hehe.

I'm just so sick to see people's comments about extending a series for the league's purpose of generating revenue. These people should watch the game live to see if there's something going on and referees are intentionally doing that for a purpose.

Don't want to see that way too but we can't remove that issue as there are opinions that will continue to bring this kind of topic when there are series and when we seen unusual outcome, fans and gamblers will continue to bring that opinions when they've lost a bet but those who are watching live games, those who feel and experiencing the pressure inside the court/arena.

They are the one who can tell what kind of pressures players have when playing and trying to win a game to delight the fans.

As much as I want Converge to at least taste a bit of championship, that really low chance to happen as SMC teams will always be dominated the league.

If only fair trade is a thing in this league, independent teams like Converge have a chance to dominate.

As for Converge import, they are now considering him to be a resident import. A good plan but that depends on Radmanovich.
Don't expect too much on an independent team in the current state of PBA right now. I really miss the times where teams like Coca-Cola, Powerade, Barako Bull and other independent teams are fighting against these giant companies in the playoffs. I mean the excitement and competition is better at that time compare to now.

Unfortunately, we might not that kind of thing again unless there are major changes. Converge on the other hand played really well in their first 3 seasons in the league, but like other independent teams, they are also being eliminated immediately at the first round.

As for Radmanovich as their resident import, this is what I'm saying a few days ago that this might be his debut and his final game this season, but his performance on this game might be a good thing for him for some reason because there might be a chance that other team or the same team will get him when the conference where there is an import comes. Now they wanted him to be their resident import which is a good decision. We've seen Ginebra doing that, and we saw the impact of Brownlee on the Ginebra.

NLEX is playing without an import, so I think this game will be a boring one, and it surely won't be a close one. Brownlee is so good in times like this, so most likely, Ginebra will win via a blowout. Anyway, I just took the -11, and hopefully, that will hit.
Yes, they are, and without an import, it means Ginebra has a very huge chance of winning. -11 is definitely achievable, as Ginebra can make a big run, and they might just get it in one quarter. I didn't expect this to happen to NLEX. They need their import, but he is not healthy, so they are going to war against the best in the PBA with an all-Filipino squad.

Well, this is a best of 3 series, maybe NLEX's import will be able to play in game 2.

20 points deficit coming to the 2nd half, if the trend continue and if NLEX unable to make a good rally then expect that spread will be covered, not sure though as we can't conclude unless the time is already runout and the final buzzer already ends the game. Just to add some fun, we know that a good working hands can change/manipulate the outcome of the game Tongue Roll Eyes just kidding but with the game tempo it's simply saying that Gin kings will win this game.

There's no chance for them, as Ginebra is just too good, and they are playing without an import. It's actually a gift for the bettors, especially those who bet before the game. I think the spread was below -10, so they should be happy now.

NLEX ML @13.00, who's brave enough to try this one? I'm not taking this but wait for the third quarter and see if i will see a good opportunity to bet on this game.

Not this time. I'm sure Ginebra won't allow NLEX to come back, as it might cost them a game.

In our language " Binaon" Gin kings is too strong and NLEX can't do nothing without the import to help them, 34 points deficit maybe if there's an import it can't be that huge, lucky for those who bets before the game spread is fully covered as Gin kings take this game seriously, all went well with the executions and the players are really enjoying the game.

CStand and Malonzo dominated the locals while as we expect Kabayang Brownlee tower the offense for the Brgy,.

Well, as expected on the first games of the playoffs. Teams who are on the bottom will lost by double digits.

On the first game, it's the only game Converge's import, but he scored 39 points, got 10 rebounds, played for 46 minutes and 40% from 3-pt area. For a debut match, I guess it's a good stat line already, but as we expected, they lost to the SMB by 16 points. Clark, Perez and Manuel combined for 86 of the total 121 points. Manuel showed his efficiency on this one as he's the best player of the game scoring 20 points with a perfect 9/9 shooting.

On the second game, when I saw that Selden Jr. got an injury, I didn't watch the game anymore because I know and we know what to expect with this one. I mean with Selden Jr. at least they have a chance, but without him, that chances drop to 0%. I wonder how the NLEX Road Warriors performed this whole conference if they retained Jonathon Simmons as their import instead of Wayne Selden Jr., but anyway, they lost bigtime.

Two sister teams in SMB and Ginebra will face in the Semi-Finals on a best of 5 series. I think Ginebra will win on this match-up. Only a prediction though. Smiley

As per report, Wayne Selden Jr had a grade 1 right midfoot sprain, that's why he won't be playing for tonight's game but i think he will play in game 2 as the injury is only grade 1.

Yeah, that -11 is very achievable, in fact the Ginebra Kings are leading by 20 points at the end of the first half, 56-36. It was a close ballgame at the end of the first quarter but the lead of the Kings blew up to 20 with Brownlee leading the charge.

As expected, Ginebra dominated the game with a big lead already. I think game 1 belongs to Ginebra, and so will game 2 if their import will not come back. Ginebra does not usually start strong, but in this game, they did due to an obvious reason.

Well, this is a best of 3 series, maybe NLEX's import will be able to play in game 2.

Of course, but it's not a problem for Ginebra, as they have the momentum going into game 2, especially if they have a blowout win here.

By the way, Ginebra is also playing with an all-Filipino squad here, as Brownlee is a naturalized player. Smiley

The first game between SMB and Converge is currently ongoing, and SMB is currently leading. Unfortunately, I am unable to watch the game as there are no available live streams on Facebook. Thus, my only option is to monitor the game through the box score as my basis for live betting. I keep refreshing my search in the hopes of finding a live stream before the game ends.
Not for long, because Converge won the 2nd quarter. As a result, they won the first half. Now, we are in the 2nd half, where SMB is usually good. They have to continue attacking the paint, as that's their strength. Maybe they will play better defense, resulting in a low-scoring game.  Grin

And then the outcome favors the favorite not sure if they also covered the spread, that 2nd quarter run of Converge gives SMB supporters a good edge with the ML and handicap during the live event, my bad not paying attention with the schedule as I didn't get the chance of betting to my favorite squad.

Both imports are impressive. They both give decent production and like what I mentioned, above it will be a battle for the locals, the productions and how locals will play their roles is the important factors here.

SMB really got the upper hand as we see from the outcome of the game.

If this turns into a battle of big runs, Converge will be able to make it a close game. However, it looks like SMB is not allowing Converge to have their big run in the last quarter. So SMB will likely win, and Converge will be eliminated. There's still plenty of time though, so let's just enjoy the game.

I keep refreshing my search in the hopes of finding a live stream before the game ends.
Next game for sure there's plenty of live stream.

Well, as an update from the FiberXers, the new import is about to come and I think the adjustment will be fairly average on them. Vodanovich is a no-brainer and a good player based on his stats and origin. He was once drafted into the NBA and this only proves Franklin that talent can be forgotten when the toxicity is at its finest despite him very good individual player. Well, even me, I'll choose a better player that has a good mentality and attitude rather than someone who's really good but has a bad attitude. That's just going to give a domino effect to the other players in the roster. It's said that the play style of Vodanovich is a team player so, let's see.
With this development from Converge, I don't trust them to win a single game against SMB. So, I'll be betting against them regardless of the spread. I'm sure SMB will take the game seriously, as they don't want to be in a do-or-die situation. Anyway, good luck to both teams on their game tomorrow. Hopefully, Converge will not be dominated too much, so we can see an exciting game.
It's okay, whatever you prefer just to do it. We're all testing the waters on how the development will happen for them as they've got a new import replacement.
As much as we admire the team and their players, with such replacements and changes during this midst of the league, we're all worried that something might not click so fast.
However, we just have to wish them well and good and the match for later is about to happen and who knows if they'll prove something or the new import will adapt to the style of the whole team.

The NLEX vs Ginebra game is more interesting compared to Converge vs SMB. If BGR plays a very good game, it could be a close match because Ginebra was not so dominant in their previous game. Also, in their last meeting, the game was very close, with Ginebra winning by only 3 points in a score of 111-114.
NLEX will be more eager to bounce back here and have a win against Ginebra, both teams will prepare for their next games and its hard to tell who will win on this. Though I think with this series, Ginebra still have a good advantage here as they are more composed team and they really know each other for a long time now. Good plays and better pass will help Ginebra to achieve a better result, maybe a big lead win for Ginebra tomorrow.

Chemistry and trust from one another, the advantage that Gin kings will show up here, I see your point in terms of play executions but yes, NLEX will do everything to win as well, they will prepare just the same with how Gin kings will do, but along the way only one team will win and experienced wise, Gin kings have a better advantage here.

Might need to bring everything, not just with the new import, but they needed to work together if they wanted to win against the heavy favorite SMB. I'm always vocal with my pick here and I also believing that whatever the spread the chance of covering is possible with SMB, even they don't have Fajardo but the import's performance covers his numbers.

It will be the locals that will compete to win and how they will finish the game against one another.
Speaking of locals, the local players of Converge are also good players, and can help their import in terms of offense.

They have players like Ahamnisi, Teng, and Stockton to lead the offense for the locals, and at the same time they have Arana, Pascual and Tratter to defend the paint. The FiberXers' local players are also good ones as well and will be a good help with their new import. Well, Converge are the heavy underdogs in this series match-up because why not? They are facing the SMB who we know how star-studded their team are even without Fajardo.

Like you, I also believe that the spread that the sportsbook will put might be covered by the SMB whatever number it is (spread).

Let see if how SMB will seal the win here. I would love to see TR7 to play and give some minutes to add up with their offensive threats.
