We have not often seen that an event is postponed so often and for a long time while the bet is still in progress. Where do they actually base those odds on who is going to win? Surely that is almost impossible to analyze in advance?

I suppose stakeholders involved in this bet are really on a hard deal now, most of them I suppose are going to be ready for either heavy bank or heavy court trials..

x2 pay-out if Trump wins the election

I'm open for bigger bets

for anyone shopping odds, betfair is pricing trump at 2.42. not great compared to a few weeks ago, but still much better than 2. they've also got biden at 1.77 vs 1.5 on betmoose. https://www.betfair.com/exchange/plus/politics/market/1.128151441

LOL why is it only 1.5x payout if Biden wins while Trump bettors gets twice? The bet seems kinda unfair tbh.

i assume the book is hedging against its punters' bets. either that or they believe biden has a better chance of winning, or a combination of both.

Trump odds are 2.50 on Degens.com which is similar to Betfair but uses crypto and doesn't require KYC.

Are we even sure elections will take place, because anything can happen.
Maybe I can take a bet that they will be postponed, but if not I see great value betting for Donald Trump.
Both of them are old boring dudes, and I don't support anyone Smiley

But will support either one of them, if Kanye West will truly enter the Presidential race. I have seen bookies including West in the odds.  Roll Eyes If the election will be postponed, then Trump still rules.

Kanye West can't really enter the race. It's not one election it's 50 individual votes in 50 states, then electors are apportioned according to various rules.

It's too late to be included on the ballot in most states, where you can't be on the ballot if you have not participated in a primary.

So even if Kanye launches a mega campaign, most people won't be able to vote for him, so there is no way he can win or even have an impact on the election.

Lol, so Trump here was in underdog by Biden.

I personally also hate Trump because there was several mistakes made by him that makes people annoyed even his own countrymen.
The democratic (Biden) vs the Republican (Trump) has a good match on this election 2020 and I guess Biden has a better odds hee because based on "Polling aggregation" source #1 and source #2, Bien was always on people's choice. I saw the potential of Biden in here.
We are still too far on said election and there would be still lots of changes that would surely happen. Polls wont really be that accurate but somewhat we can already picture out.
Me also personally hate Trump but i can see that Biden will possibly win this upcoming election on high chances.US Citizens had already tasted out on how Trump do rule but it seems
there are lots of haters this time and they do like to see another leader. If he would able to continue on next term then that would be a miracle.  Grin

anyone interested ?

No one is dumb enough to give you such a high value bet against Trump. On Fairlay, you can lay Biden to win the election @ 2.25 for better odds and a better bet, or a Trump bet @ 2.26 with much higher limits if you're fine with Pinnacle market rules.

Betmoose is an exchange, and the 1.5x on Biden means that someone wanted 3x odds against Biden pretty much. OP probably doesn't have a position and wants to prey on someone dumb to get either a ton of value or an arb around 6% profit.

I've never heard of betmoose.com, has someone here go any experience with it ?

Betting on Biden right now is not very lucrative, to win big you must bet big, and if somehow you lose, with let's say Trump corrupting the election like he's trying to do, or launching a war, or something like that, then you lose big.

I personally want Biden to win rather than seeing Trump for another term. However, looking at the public sentiment, it seems safer to bet for Trump! Americans seems to love his statements against foreign aliens and especially against a particular religious community. His planned hatred towards foreign workers  seems to have worked well with Americans!

But it's too early to start a betting on US presidential election. A lot can be changed in between!

I've agreed with your first statement, yet strongly disagree with what it follows. Trump had made America deal with a lot of certain issues -- political, social, etc. And with him winning another term would never been an impossibility to make more suffer. Considering a lot of troubles in his term -- the racism issue which he couldn't control; the pandemic that causes a lot of cases and deaths in the US; and many more on the past yet kept unresolved, Biden must have the spotlight and let him resolve all of what must change. Hence, if I would to bet (yes it's too early) I would rather be choosing Biden.

You are definitely free to disagree and have your thought process! But I really mean, what I have said about Trump! People can definitely say that Trump us making America great again bit at what cost? Hatred is definitely not a way to make America great again and that's what he resorted to before coming into power. You may forget the past but please look at his speeches and interviews before 2017 and you will understand what I am referring to!

Yet, he has a very strong chance to win the upcoming election!

It would be also interesting to place a bet on who will have the first medicin against Covid. Let us hope it is not Trump, with his big mouth always. And he is talking to much trash.
So far, it seems like Russia is in the lead based on what I am hearing though I am not exactly sure whether their vaccine is legit or not since literally everyone are aware of their shady tactics.

Above article gives a good idea as to which countries are in the race currently. I don't think USA will be the first.

I would not bet on a website without top reputation, but I appreciate that the op reminded me of the possibility of betting on presidential elections! I've looked on Sportsbet.io, and while I haven't found the Trump vs Biden thing, there is an opportunity of betting on the party that wins the presidential elections. The odds are currently 1.57 for Democratic, 2.13 for Republican and 68.92 for Independent. I'm placing a bet on the Democratic Party because Biden seems to be leading the polls, Trump has been as irresponsible as ever dealing with the pandemic, and I'd want the Democrat candidate to win (especially now that the so-so Biden is taking the great Kamala Harris as his running mate).

hmph..
IMO, Trump has made a lot of mistakes in making decisions during his presidency, that's what I see from what I follow through the media (although maybe not as bad as in fact). To be sure, controversial decisions that he made and considered not in favor of the American people. this election seems hard for Trump to be re-elected as president. Indeed, many haters do not necessarily lose like what Savemore mentioned, but it will be different when someone has not and after becoming president. When supporters have felt a mismatch during his term, they will start looking for replacement options, this is a crucial point for Trump to get votes in the election. If Biden is seen as better by trump ex-supporters, and Clinton supporters in the previous election have tilted towards Biden, it may be time for America to say goodbye to Trump.

In this bet, I'm sure there will definitely be a lot of bettors who would vote for Biden over Trump. But, if Trump becomes a winner in this elections, OP maybe get a lot of money, since he chooses Trump Grin

It is just a poll after all and it can be manipulated by someone, I will make a bet in Republican because I know Trump will win and he will make America great again. If Biden will win, the projects and things that finished by the Trump administration will go to waste. Say there are a lot of people who hate trump but history will repeat itself where before Trump has a lot of haters but he still won the previous presidential election.  Tongue

Where did you hear this? Majority of the polls have stated that Biden has been in the lead for sometime now and this will probably never change. Polls may have been wrong last time, but that doesn't mean they will be wrong this time too.

Majority of the public themselves want Biden to win based on what I observed though it comes down to who wins the key states in the end. Let's see if Trump can conjure another miracle this time.

Looking at the Betmoose's account and trust rating here in the forum, there is one neutral trust yet have said negative things about the platform, so I won't definitely be betting in here.
