And also I'm feel bad for the lakers nowadays And I don't think so if what's going on with them why King James cant carry his team I think it's time to look another player who can assist and help king James to carry their team.
Looking at how Lakers played, there is this anger coming from AD that could make them play a lot better. He usually plays so casually and not really care about winning as much as some other players, and right now he looks like he plays with anger which is something we haven't seen in a long time from him.

If everyone stays healthy, I feel like AD and Lebron can take this team to finals and when you are in the finals I bet that Lebron can beat anyone, there aren't many teams in the world that can beat Lebron, not with AD for sure. I think it has happened frequently because everyone in the league built a team to beat Lebron to begin with, when you adjust teams rosters based on facing you, that makes you the threat to every team.
I feel like Warriors is the one that can do that. I mean if they can all stay healthy they are much better team, look at the roster and tell me they are not going to be beasting against everyone. I do not think that west is packed this year, there is this "everyone is close to each other" vibe but feels like that is because everyone played terribly.

Warriors had a troubling season on the road but if they can overcome that on playoffs they are the best. Lakers failed a lot this year, the last few games after the trade was good I will give you that but they still sucked all season long to be worthy of championship. They may play better and fight harder but they are not good enough to win anything at all, feel like they could just lose very quickly.

The Phoenix Suns at 5.50 odds would be my choice. They're 3rd favorite to win the championship, but they are the only team currently that looks to be playing like a team unit. They're 7-3 in their last 10 games and getting Kevin Durant back makes them a very hard unit to stop. Of course, you got Lebron and the Lakers coming in hot at 8-2 in their last 10 games but can Lebron and Anthony Davis sustain long series? Can they handle playing back to back games?
The Phoenix will have to go through the Clippers in their first round in the playoffs. That is a hard task since they do not have that many games played with Durant. The Clippers have a good lineup of bench players and if PG13 will be able to play, the Suns will have a hard time against them. Though Durant is a good addition to the Suns, I think their chemistry will be tested by the defense of Kawhi and PG. They do not have to worry about Lebron or AD yet, as the Lakers may also have a hard time going through the Grizzlies.
The depth of Clippers bench is to be admired considering how good those role players are and Kawhi is playing efficiently also these days. The chemistry they don't get along with Durant when he plays was an important factor and as you've said it's not that much and that affects everything, could be good because I'm with the Clippers lol. I do think Lakers has the chance if they play better, reduce those turnovers and getting good outside the paint, they're not efficient there.
Clipper without Paul Goerge puts them at a major disadvantage. The Suns are ready to go with everyone healthy. I think the Suns beat the Clippers in 5, possibly a sweep honestly. I'm sure Westbrick will lose his momentum quick and turnover the ball 7-10 times a game. Easy money if betting this.

I voted for the Celtics to win this year. I think they are ripe to win a championship and their loss last year gave them a good experience to use for this year.

My personal pick is the Denver Nuggets but this is from a fan perspective.

We have so many competitive teams nowadays that a good team is not even enough to enter the playoffs. My mind says the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics are the two top teams that might win the crown. Although I am not going to ignore the other teams. GSW is always a team that may perform medium-well during a regular season but they are beasts when it comes to the playoffs. Years of experience in the finals and its new players being exposed to their veterans make them very hard to beat during playoffs unless their core players are injured. I am also curious about how well the Suns perform this playoff with KD. I think they are enough to handle a healthy Clippers in the first round. And there's also the healthy Sixers, they are now a force to be reckoned with.

Since March, I already put my bet on the Warriors because I believe that they're the team to beat now in the West. I will cite some things with regards to the Warriors that might change your mind if you already put your bet on another team.

- Curry, Thompson, and Poole are combined for 779 three pointers in the regular season. That's the highest by a trio in an NBA history.
- Thompson is the 3rd player in NBA history to get at least 300 three pointers in a single season. The other 2? Curry, and Harden.
- They are the 7th highest defensive rating post-trade deadline. Take note that Wiggins isn't playing most of that time, and GPII only played 7 games.
- Poole, and DiVincenzo as their back-up scorer, Kuminga who is very athletic, and starting to develop himself already, Moody is a big help as well, GPII as a great defender. These are only their bench players.
- Their starting 5 of Curry, Thompson, Green, Wiggins, and Looney are one of the best starting 5 right now in the league.

That are only the some of the things that they achieved this season. I also forgot to mention that experience that they've got as a whole team. On the first round, they will face the top offensive team right now which is the Kings, but they're inexperienced, and we know how experience affects the playoffs right? On the second round, they will face the Grizzlies most probably, and I can't wait for the Warriors to slap them especially Brooks who are calling themselves a "dynasty".

No hate for other teams out there or the users here who put their bets on another team, but I only shared some things from a Warrior fan. Cheesy
Nice share about the Warriors facts. Love it!
I already took a bet for the Nuggets but I might put my spare money for the Warriors too.
When Wigs comes back it will be a different Warriors on the defensive end. They will have two of the elite perimeter defenders in the league, him and GP2 which will give a problem to a lot of guys. i.e. Fox against the Kings.
You are right, experience is a big thing in the playoffs and even if Mike Brown wins the Coach of the Year, it's a different story when it comes to his players. This is their first in 17 years, I doubt a lot of players in the Kings roster could provide some insights about how they will play the game in crucial moments. (only Harrison Barnes) Mike Brown will waste a lot of timeouts if he will keep on preaching it to them.
Warriors at 5 in the first round. I became a Kings fan but I deeply wished they are not matched with the defending champs. Sadly, it still happened.

The Warriors are the defending champions, and their current odds are +1100, which is decent and likely to attract many bets. Additionally, it has been reported that Wiggins has returned and is expected to play in the playoffs, which could boost the team's chances of repeating their victory.

Voted for them already.

The odds is really tempting but they already sacrificed a lot of their good bench players which is responsible for their strong second half last year just to maintain their first 5 line up. Current GSW has a very weak defense and can be destroyed by the team with balance offense and defense like Nuggets and Boston.

GSW might have a good run but this year will gonna be a lot harder compared last year due to their current roster and every team on West is very strong with their complete line-up.

Whether or not they are considered underdogs remains to be seen. During the last playoffs, they may not have been the favorites, but they still won the NBA Finals. Therefore, I believe they deserve more respect now as the defending champions. However, I do understand why people are considering them as underdogs, and I like that perspective. .

Maybe people only look with the current issue that's why they look GSW as underdog, but they also need to realize the the core of this team is still alive and they are dangerous when they are all healthy. We can also add up the return of Wiggins which can give more fire power to this team so I guess this season they still have a chance to get a championship. Just do hope they will not encounter a major injury because this could affect their championship run this season.

Not just their fire power because the Warriors defense will be boosted in Wiggins return as it's quite hard to forget that he was one of the vital defenders of the team.

And regarding about their current betting odds, I'd pretty much view the bookies list as an advantage that we shouldn't waste especially if we believe that they can still reach up to the Finals while they are still listing the Warriors as the underdogs. I mean, that's quite a favor on our side because we already know how dangerous the Warriors can be in the post season.

Just to be unique, I'm betting on the Bulls. This team is decent, they just struggle in the regular season, but look how they played on the road. I have a feeling they could snatch another road game win.

As for their odds to win the championship, they are currently at 500.00, and I think it's worth a try.

Does anyone else think these odds are tempting?

Yes, that is really tempting enough and an odds like that will pay out abundantly if they could snatch the win this year around. But I honestly don't think that they can able to reach that far.

Don't take it wrong but just like the West now, the Easter Conference is also housing some teams that are tough to beat namely Sixers who have been awesome this season and of course we have the Bucks who got a stable balance on their offense and defense, and then there's the Celtics who are trying to bounce back from their defeat in the last Finals.

I’d like to see how the teams compete in the first round before making my prediction, but I think the Warriors are still the team to beat at the moment. Boston and the Bucks are the dominant force in the East but Golden State, Phoenix, and maybe even the Lakers could all have good postseason runs. If Wiggins comes back though, the Warriors have to be the favorites.

So my question is, what team do you think will win the NBA Championship this year.

Tell us the current betting odds and the reason of your choice, and please don't forget to vote on the poll.

This is tough. Sometimes, unexpected things happened.

Personally for me, now that my favorite team, Dallas Mavericks, was now out of contention and not even able to pass on the play-in, my choice on what team will bring this year's NBA Larry O'Brien championship trophy are; Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors (Favorites) and Los Angeles Lakers (yes, as Underdog).

Not betting though at the NBA Champion Future as I might focus on "Per Game" and "Series Betting".

I still think that Warriors has the best starting five out of any team. I don't care if you have lebron and ad, I don't care if you have ja morant, I don't care if you have murray and the joker, it is just a simple fact that Warriors won so many rings with this roster provides proof that the trio just simply works. Plus, remember that they also have wiggins and poole, as well, which I think should be amazing for them.

People might sleep on them but I had them as my winner at the start of the season, and I keep betting on them again and again, they are just too good to give up. I feel like they may not be the best team overall, their bench is incredibly weak, but their starting five will get a lot of minutes and win games.

In theory the Warriors do, but I just feel like the Bucks are more well rounded and have a better shot than the Warriors due.  I certainly won't count the warriors out, they are sort of at the tail end of a dynasty ..if you can really even call it that, but of course everyone knows what I mean..but I just think they might be a bit old at this point.

I personally thing the Bucks are going to bring it down.

The Bucks could be a very dominant team, but they have to take care of the Celtics first or maybe the Hawks in case they upset the number 2 team. There are a lot of things happening now, since the Bulls will go up against the Heat. Who knows? This Bulls team could make it to the playoffs and play against the Bucks.

It's too early to predict the champion, as anything can happen, but I agree that the Bucks are a strong team. They are currently the number one favorite to win the championship.

I voted for the Boston Celtics because I think they will probably know how to get back to the NBA finals quickly but I doubt they can pass through that stage because I just remembered that KD is in Phoenix Suns which will go to be the Western Conference champion easily this year if they can play healthy throughout the NBA playoffs. The only problem they have is when they cannot stop the GSW because they are lethal in the NBA playoffs and when they can get past Sacramento Kings quickly, then their next opponent will be in danger.

My prediction for this season in NBA is that Golden state warrior still will be the winner of course I am a huge Fan for this team and loyal for them.  Steph curry Thompson and The rest of the team will doing great this season. And also I'm feel bad for the lakers nowadays And I don't think so if what's going on with them why King James cant carry his team I think it's time to look another player who can assist and help king James to carry their team.
The golden country warriors were quite a strong team and were ranked 6th in the western regions.
The Golden State Warriors game will take place next Sunday against the Kings.
If you look at the previous matches of these two teams, the Golden State Warriors could easily win with a large enough difference in points, then for the upcoming match, the Golden State Warriors would definitely get an absolute victory.

No wonder you have predictions and big fans of the golden country warriors.
Even though I have no predictions that the Golden State Warrior team will win the NBA this season, I am in awe of their prowess.

I'm betting on the top favorite now, which is the Bucks. They have proven their consistency in the regular season, and they are healthy with new additions to the team, so I think they'll be even better this time around. I'm excited to see them play in the Finals, but I'm even more excited to see how they'll avenge their loss last ECF against the Celtics.

In the West, it's hard to tell which team will win, but my top three are the Warriors, Nuggets, and Suns.

Celtics plays better this conference, I'm confident they will enter the finals though I can't be sure if they can beat Bucks going into the finals as well.
In Western Conference, it will be warriors vs Denver, with this I'll go for warriors since I'm a fan of Steph and the team. Too bad for Lakers placing on a bad standing right now, there's still a chance for them though, let's see if they will play more as as a team. My final predictions will be Warriors to get another ring.

Bucks and Warriors will be a great match again for the championship game.
Though anything can happen and its hard to choose on which team to win the championship. Warriors are still doing great, they are still performing well and I think they will defend their title this conference, playing against kings might not be easy but they can overcome this. Bucks have to overcome Celtics as well, they are the big threat in eastern conference.

I'd stay my support for Clippers now that Kawhi is healthy and Westbrook was likely found himself a good company. If PG13 gets back again as healthy I think that they are a good contender for that ring. Well, that was for the West but on the East I think it's either Bucks or the Celtics.
Clippers consistency is good so far and getting a win streak with Westbrook on their team showing that he's a good match to the team, if their teammates will support him then provably we can see more intense Westbrook in the playoffs. But I think they might struggle to achieve championship knowing teams in the west have good upgrades made on free agency so for this they cannot made their life easy on top teams on the west.
I do think he found a team that can cater him and coach Ty Lue was likely getting him more minutes. Yes we will not see a Thunder-like Brody but I think he has that explosiveness once again in the Clippers and seeing him getting those deeps are something he improved compare on what he performs on the Lakers.

I'm still thinking what if Kings was really the Dark Horse of all in the West after all this year? They are the least to talk but they are pretty a good amazing squad and getting at top 3 in the West compare to the last seasons where they end up to the last or not make it at playoffs is a feat unthinkable. They really get that roster pretty good.

I am in these three teams thinking on which of which shall take the ring for this season. Celtics, Warriors and Bucks.
But with thinking of consistency and having individual players contributing a lot to the team, it's proven that Giannis has got his team back. It's crazy to think about this while we're approaching close to it.
Jazz is out already on the playoff contention and that just means that it's getting closer than we think and time is passing fast.

Denver seems at risk here especially if they will face Lakers in the Semis but I'm sure they can still win and go to the finals this time, this is their best time to do all out and I'm predicting them to win the Western conference this time, though Warriors is still a contender but they are not consistent this conference. This is one of the wild standing so far, its actually hard to predict who will win, so place your bet well and enjoy watching as well.

I would really like to see a new team and I willl be the first one to pick Suns in the poll hehe. They are definitely in a better position now with the addition of Kevin Durrant so I think they are the dark horse in the West this season. Hopefully he remains healthy for majority of the playoffs.

Bucks or Celtics from the East could compete against any team. I'm fine if either of them wins it all.

I will have to say Boston Celtics.
Jayson Tatum, and Jalen Brown for the offense, and then Marcus Smart to be their top defender. And then they have Williams and Al Horford in the middle. And they have a lot of good role players too that can explode any given game. Plus they have been in the finals before, they know the feeling of losing and they don't want that to happen to them once again. So I'm seeing winning easy first round whoever they face and then become tough as the playoff round progresses or as the game become crucial.

I really hope so LeBron takes a 5th ring! If AD, Russell and Denis will be good form their chance pick up, but the worst thing for they company are injured which I hope don't takes this players.

Even a fully healthy Lakers only has slim chance of winning a chip. I would even consider them lucky or let's say improved in a way when they get pass the 2nd round.
I'm rooting for the healthy Suns this year. Base on the Suns game played with Durant on the roster, they seem to be difficult to handle for any teams in the West. I feel like the combination of CP3, Booker, Durant, and Ayton are more lethal than the GSW with Durant. That's what makes me so excited in this playoffs this year. Can CP3 finally have his first ring ever as well as Booker. They had like back to back disappointing playoffs year, now with Durant on the roster, they're an inch closer to the goal than the last couple of years.

I am betting on the Nuggets.
Jokic as Kia Season MVP then he will claim the Conference MVP title, and the Finals MVP with the championship trophy on his side. How sweet will that be?  That's my prediction for now and I think I will still bet for them at 8.50.
But the actual time when it could have been profitable was before the season started. I am not sure how much they are giving away at that time because I took the bet for the Pelicans just for fun and because they are giving away x33 if they become a champion.

Looks like the Warriors and the Bucks are winning the poll. Nice. But I want to see a new champion.

I have the GSW and voted for them. Yes, they are not that complete this season, but they still managed to survived and land on 6th place right now. I thought that they are going to be eliminated, but then when Steph comes back from injuries, he bring the team to above .500 and now are able to maintain it.

They still have Wiggins to comeback, and the last time we heard, he will not be back in the regular season, but it doesn't mean he won't be playing in the playoff. And with GPII back in the lineup, it will be very difficult to whoever teams are going to face them in the playoff, and in a series. Sacramento is a good team no doubt, but if by chance they are match against the Warriors in the playoff, it will be very difficult for them.

I voted for the Milwaukee Bucks to win this year. They have been in this kind of situation before and it seems that they are more healthy this season just like when they won the ring.

And Giannis is putting MVP numbers, he might not be the favorite as Jokic and Embiid are the front runners. But as far as experience goes, I like their chances, Khris Middleton is 100% now, Holiday just had a career high 51 points. So they look solid. Also, others might not agree to me, but I'm not seeing any solid team in the West that can win the trophy for this year.

They are healthy now, as LeBron has already made a comeback. However, it seems like they will have to go through the eye of a needle in order to win the championship. Right now, they are probably in the play-in situation, so that's another test for the team.

I'm looking at the Clippers right now and they are doing quite well. I would really bet on them if I followed the season but I'm really clueless as to how things are at the moment. I only watched Clippers defeat Lakers yesterday and Kawhi is on fire. As for GSW, they also look on fire although knowing that this is GSW, I have a lot of questions on their defenses. Most of the people I know are leaning towards Clippers moving into the finals, but I might need to watch a few more games before I could tail that bet and collect a payout (hopefully.)

I'm shocked to see people voting for the Warriors.  I have to be honest, I haven't been paying as close of attention as I have in years past, so I'm not real sure if they have mostly underperformed due to injuries, or if they are simply just not having a great year.  The Bucks seems to have the best all around team, and arguably the greatest player on earth.  They've won one before (even though I'm not sure it really counts), so they have the experience as well.

Well they have all players recovered and we know when they go into playoffs its a whole other team. In the ordinary league they just go and reach the playoffs but once they reach it and playoffs starts they are an entire new team. Also i think Denver might surprise us this year also for me the favorites are the Boston Celtics.

I vote for Bucks this season knowing they are pretty much consistent and Giannis still a dominant player which can lift his team to championship.

The Warriors are the defending champions, and their current odds are +1100, which is decent and likely to attract many bets. Additionally, it has been reported that Wiggins has returned and is expected to play in the playoffs, which could boost the team's chances of repeating their victory.

Voted for them already.
Ofcourse "mainstream" teams would still be leading despite of the fact that unexpected teams are leading the brackets such as with nuggets. Bucks I guess would more be able to sustain their lead up til finals. Lakers and other bigger fanchise or names are wuite having trouble with their line ups. They might have the larger number of all stars but atleast chemistry are with those teams which are quite having a good run this year. There are also unexoected trades between different teams which causes line ups to be shuffled but also, makes it hard for bettors out there.New players are also monsters; centers hitting 3s. Odds would be hard for sure to determine given that it is still too early for championship. Regardless, bucks are a more balanced team IMO.

Right now I think the Bucks are gonna take the chip (I voted for the Knicks as a true Homer fan).  Celtics and Philly have too many holes to get exposed over a 7 game series.  The west I can't make heads or tails of but my guess would be the Suns vs bucks.  And I just can't see anyone on the Suns being able to shut down gianiss for more than a game or 2.  Suns or Bucks, way to go out on a limb lol.

I voted Bucks for you. I agree. I think Giannis is the most unstoppable player in the league right now and I don’t think teams like Boston or Phoenix can guard him. Maybe the 76ers or the Lakers could keep him from taking over but I’m not sure either of those teams will get the chance. I also like Denver’s chances as I think they’re the best young team in the league.

Initially, I would've voted for the Warriors but I gave my vote to the Celtics since they made it to the finals last playoffs and they still have a consistent performance up until now.

They're the second team favored by the bookies and I expect them to reach the finals once more and actually win it all as long as they won't lose any players throughout the playoffs. We've seen unexpected injuries happen during the playoffs and know how the situation can quickly change for the players and the team.

It might be too early, but the regular season is almost over, so I guess it's a good time to predict who will be the NBA Champions.
As for me, I already did my bet since March 30. I already put my bet on the Warriors because I think they are still capable of winning the title again.

They might be playing very awful on the road which is kind of a question mark for me, and to others as well knowing that they are performing very well on their home. They're playing very great on their home while it's a complete opposite on the road. However, if the whole roster of the Warriors will come back, and will play better on the road like what they did last year, I think they're still capable of winning it.

They have the pieces. Splash Brothers + Poole Party + DiVincenzo on the offense, Looney, Green, Kuminga, GPII, and even Moody on the defense, and rebounds. When Wiggins come back, I'm not really expecting too much on his comeback on the first games, but we know how he played last playoffs, and how he has been a big factor on their title run. I believe that he can do it again because he isn't injured at all. I pick the Warriors to get the title again.

I made this thread for those who are interested in betting on the NBA Future. At the moment, the odds are already out, so there's plenty of time to bet before the playoffs.

So my question is, what team do you think will win the NBA Championship this year.

Tell us the current betting odds and the reason of your choice, and please don't forget to vote on the poll.
