serisouly, thread hijacking at work ^^^^^.

On-topic, $220 is too high for gridseed usb miners. You'd need at least 10 of them for any kind of serious mining.

The same price can get you essentially the same mining power on scrypt.cc (link below).  Fees are low, runs non-stop, switch mining so you are always mining the most profitable coin . . . that's a no brainer to me.  Check it out.

I joined using your link did you get the referral ?  If the site is honest it is a little better then buying gridseeds for ltc only. I grabbed 100 khs and I grabbed  another hundred today total of about 200 khs.  with multi coin hopping 200khs should or could earn the dames as 1 350kh gridseed mining only ltc.

This is my link for a referral in my signature

and this is just sign up http://scrypt.cc

The down side they could go poof I have no idea if they are any good.   but if you are going to buy a lot of grid seeds . I have 15 going on 18.

having a few bucks here is not a bad hedge.

I don't see how these can ROI in the next 6 months. With 90-250 MH scrypt  ASIC coming ...even less so.

i'm waiting for round two of alt-asic.
first gen is more of a proof of concept to me.
when they have around 700kh per device or higher i'll look into investing provided the price is right.

These really need to be about $110-120 max at th emoment....

J

i agree, these devices do not put out enough hash for the price.
sure you save electricity, but seriously not worth it.

I had 9 gpus pulling down  7200 kh   also pushing 2700 watts.

sold them off at 400 each grabbed 15 girds pulling down 5600kh  pushing under 200 watts  and about 400 cash in my pocket.

 200 watts is about 5k watt a day  or 150 k watt a month a k watt for me is 16 cents or 24-26 usd a month.

So I will hash at 5600kh   for about 18 months with the 400 usd left over.  It  made sense to convert if you had gpus.

There are already some people selling gridseeds for $170-180 , so $220 is higher now.

They're selling on eBay for around that price. If you subtract final value fees you'd probably end up negative or barely breaking even.
