Have those sites had any official gambling license?

There must be an easy way to find a good and legit bitcoin casino...

I haven't played on that sites, but if you're into gambling
and maybe like Book of Ra, this could be a good alternative for you - I made some great experiences here:
http://bitcasino.io?ref=0

Book of Ra will be implemented soon - They already had this, but changed their software lately.

A lot of these sites I remember from a year ago. How times have changed. Now scam sportsbooks are popping up everywhere, comical.
And ponzi, ponzi, ponzi! I remember when it was just bitgem.

You can add a few poker sites to that list too:
BitsPoker
SatoshiPoker
LiveBitcoinPoker

Plus a few more that I forget the name of right now. I think I counted 8 that have come and gone since I've been live.

I'm sure the 'Ponzi' sites list will be longer than this one.
And where have all 'Bitcoin Ponzi' threads gone btw? The forum was flooding with them a few weeks ago.

Just a micro-research I wanted to share.

Although the Bitcoin Gambling business seems to be one of the most lucrative and 'money making' business, in the past 1 year at least 24 Bitcoin Gambling sites have 'vanished': they're not operational anymore, the domain has expired or they've just turned into another Bitcoin related business.

I was busy generating the Top 100 Bitcoin Gambling Sites and checked all listed Bitcoin gambling sites at Top Bitcoin Sites and noticed that from more than 100 sites 24 does not 'exist' anymore.

The following former Bitcoin Gambling sites have 'bitten the dust':
http://blockrace.co/
http://www.bitesports.com
http://www.coinbomb.com
http://bitcoinpokerace.com
https://biturl.in
http://www.BTCMaze.com
https://bitcoingem.net/
https//www.bitcoinpoker.io
http://www.satoshiaces.com
http://speedbet.net
http://btcblockbet.com/
http://slydice.com
http://www.satoshilive.com
http://bitpotluck.com/
http://www.madpay.com/
http://playbitco.in/
http://bitvegas.net/
http://www.btcontilt.com
http://bitbook.biz
http://www.coingames.in/
http://bitcoingem.com/
http://www.casinobit.net

The thing is, that some of them actually 'looked' very professional 'on the surface'.

We are busy with a World Cup 2014 Bitcoin Pool ourselves and I'm actually kind of shocked that this many (and this is just sites submitted at TBS) have done so...'bad'.

I wonder whether the same will apply also for Bitcoin World Cup Pools...!?
