This is a Mali garnet- from Mali in West African and nowhere else! That's right, this gemstone is only found in a single source country. It is highly valued among gemstone collectors because it is an unusual hybrid- a combination of grossular and andradite garnets. This stone weighs 1.40 carats and is a deep cognac color- a truly beautiful earth tone. It is very, very well-cut so it has a ton of sparkle (brilliance). The dimensions are 7.30 x 6.99 x 4.60mm deep.
